ARABELLA's POV

"Kyson and Bryn went missing." Alexander informed us, his voice tinged with worry and traces of panic were etched in his every word.

"What do you mean, I just spoke with him a few minutes ago." I concernedly inquired Alexander, shocked and alarmed by the unexpected news.

I stole a glance at Rhett whose gaze was fixated on the phone in my hand, his eyebrows were furrowed in confusion, and worry was written on his face.

"I was on the phone with Kyson when out of the blue I heard his car screech loudly and the call got disconnected. I've been calling him ever since, but the call isn't going through. The guards who were following him had lost contact with our men. I tracked Kyson's car, and dispatched some people over to check but his car was stranded and completely thrashed to the bottom. I've been trying to track Bryn's bracelet, but we are not getting anywhere on that either. Something is seriously wrong." Alexander recounted what had occurred, and it was obvious from his voice as to how affected and helpless he felt from this situation.

What the fuck is going on...

"The tracker that's in Bryn's bracelet can't automatically stop sending signals unless one knows how to deactivate it, and the only person who knows how to disassemble it is Kyson himself, because he was the one who made it and we tried to get it deactivated by the best technicians while testing the prototype, nobody else could do it except Kyson but why would he turn it off and if he did it under someone's pressure, the question is how would anyone know of the bracelet at all. I am not so sure of what is going on, but there's only one probable explanation that I could think of.." I trailed off, engrossed in my own confusion as I tried to make more sense of the situation.

I did not want to draw any final conclusions from these unclear and skewed information which would rather add to more confusion and stress, than helping at all.

Obviously, being in the mafia warranted stuff like this to happen at any time, but none of us expected such an outcome to happen just out of nowhere, especially since Kyson had been underground for almost two years and even so we have always had our people guarding us wherever we go.

For the past two years, The American-Italian Mafia has set up a new precedent in the history of the Mafia world, reaching a ruthless level of viciousness that has made even the strongest of our competitors think twice before taking action against us.

As well as the fact that our secret network of information has been keeping tabs on every possible threat around the whole world.

A new network was established two years ago, an independent 'legal' agency for the world was a hide-out for our Mafia to collect, dispatch and keep-up with the newest information from small local gangs to the largest mafia organisations.

From local newspaper vendors, pubs, clubs to the largest of commercial and government organisations, our agency has covered all sorts of ventures, and our people are everywhere keeping an eye for us.

And there was not a single intel to alert us on any potential actions that could have occured.

So I found it hard to believe that there wasn't a single piece of intelligence in the thousands of subsidiaries of our network agency.

The only region our agency had trouble accessing was the Spanish mafia's territory, then the feasible conclusion I could reach to was that it was possibly the work of those Spanish scumbags.

And if I arrived at this deduction, it was obviously already reached by Alexander and the others.

"The Reyes..." Alexander scoffed in annoyance.
