Maya got up before the alarm went off, she couldn't sleep longer than 7 A.M. she was just too excited about her day with Josh, she couldn't believe that she would spend an entire day with him, just the two of them, it made her nervous and happy at the same time. Josh was picking her up at 9 A.M. which gave her two hours to get ready and she really needed that. She got out of bed, not really being careful since she knew that Riley wasn't really a light sleeper. She went into the kitchen in her Pyjamas and found Topanga sitting at the table having breakfast and reading the newspaper.
„Morning sweetheart, you're up early", Topanga smiled at Maya.

„Good morning Mrs. Matthews, I know, I just couldn't sleep any longer" she said with a light smile while she joined Topanga at the table

„Oh I couldn't possibly know why", Topanga smirked making Maya blush „you know me too well."

„Come and have some breakfast my dear. And just so you know, I am very positive that Josh was probably not sleeping more than you did this morning" she added while handing Maya a mug with fresh coffee and a plate with pancakes.

Maya just silently nodded while taking a bite of the pancake from her plate.

After a while she looked up at Topanga „Mrs. Matthews, do you think that Josh is my one? I never really asked you because I think I was always a bit scared of what you might think but it's important to me what you feel because you are like a second mum to me, you know." Maya spoke softly being slightly anxious as to what Topanga might answer.

Topanga looked at Maya with the most warming and loving smile on her face „Maya, first of all, I feel so honored that you see me like a second mum, you are like a sister to Riley and so naturally like a daughter to me. Secondly, after all these years I've known you and after witnessing all the events involving Josh being around you, there is just one answer to your question, and that is yes, I believe that Josh is your „one". And do you know why I believe that?" she asked while still smiling at Maya who's face just completely lid up „no, why?" she asked expectantly, „because I've been observing you two from the first day you guys met. And even in that time where everyone thought you just had a crush on Josh and Josh acting all annoyed about you. I always knew that someday he will look at you differently, that someday, he will recognize what a truly beautiful and fierce young woman you have become and how worthy to be pursued you are. Cory was all annoyed with me too in the beginning but we became friends and he started to look at me differently. Everyone else saw it earlier than we did which was fine and the day Cory realized he liked me was the day he knew that he wanted to marry me. It took me a bit longer than him to realize it too but I did and I couldn't be more happy to have him as a husband today."

Mayas eyes were filled with tears at the beautiful complement Topanga gave her „oh sweetie come here" Topanga said standing up to embrace Maya.
„What you said meant everything to me, thank you so much Mrs. Matthews, I really love Josh."

Topanga softly stroke through Mayas hair as her head rested on Topangas shoulder „I know honey, and he feels the same way, you guys make a beautiful couple." she emphasized „now I think you need to get ready cause I assume you wanna take your time for that" she winked at Maya.

„Yes, you're right, I better go wake up Riley which will take up some time too." she said with a laugh.

„Looooooooove it" Riley yells as Maya stands in front of her showing her outfit. She was wearing a pair of light blue high waist skinny jeans with a dusky pink long sleeve ripped button front crop top, white high top chucks and a beige oversized knit cardigan. She let her hair dry naturally which made it slightly wavy and chose a no make up look with a lipstick tone that matched her shirt well. Saying she looked pretty would be an understatement for sure. It was just one of those days where everything just seemed to fall in place, her hair, skin, clothes but it was the glow that came from the inside she was wearing that made her look so stunning and it was all of it combined.
