"Okay open your eyes." Kian said from behind me.
"Kian, my eyes are open, your hands are covering my face." I said laughing.
"Oh, haha ya I forgot." He said moving his hands away from my eyes.
The house was bigger than I thought it would be. The outside was a light cream color and the roof, doors, and window frames were all dark reddish brown. I held in my breath regarding the beautiful house. The leaves rustled on the trees sending a warm breeze through my hair, brushing it into my face. Kian laughed a little tucking the hair behind my ears.
"Come on, I want to show you around the inside," He said. "And maybe later we can go swimming in the pool."
I followed him up to the door watching him fumble with the keys until the door swung open to my new home.
When you walked inside there were two staircases right next to each other. The farthest wall in the living room was completely made out of glass allowing a large amount of light into the room. To the left of the living room was the kitchen and through the kitchen was the laundry room and the door into the garage. There was one shallow step up to the living room and to the right of the living room was a bathroom and a room that could be closed with double doors that were made out of stain glass with a white trim.
"What's that room?" I asked pointing to the closed doors.
"That is our filming room." Kian said.
"We don't actually really use it that much though." Sam said laughing a little.
"This place is beautiful." I said.
"Want to see the upstairs?" Kain asked.
I nodded following him up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was a hallway leading down to a little open room. I walked down the hallway to the room smiling.
It was a circular room with a high glass ceiling. In the middle of the room was a round coffee table surrounded by bean bag chairs. I turned to Kian looking back down the hallway. Kian started from where I was walking back down the hallway touching the doors on either side of the hall from left to right.
"Okay, Rickey's, Yours, Jc's, Sam's, JJ's, And Mine." He said stopping at the stairs and turning to look at me.
"Welcome home." He said grinning.
I smiled walking over to him and pulling him back down the hallway a few steps.
"Should we test out my new bed?" I asked giving him a devilish smile.
He groaned stopping and pulling me in to kiss me, "Later." He said pulling me back over to the stairs.
We unpacked all the boxes from the cars setting them in the living room which only took about half an hour and then we stood in the living room looking at all the boxes. Most of our bigger items were still being shipped over so there weren't that many boxes.
"So, we could unpack. Ooorrr we can go into town and show Lex around." JJ said picking up and box and tossing it back down resting his hands on his hips. Shrugging he looked around at the rest of us.
"I vote dinner and ice cream." Sam said from the corner of the room.
I nodded in agreement looking at the other guys.
"Okay well I need someone to take me home after dinner." Trevor said, I kept forgetting he still wasn't old enough to live on his own.
"I can take you home, I won't be going for ice cream." Connor said. Connor lived in his own house, he loved the guys but he valued his alone time so he always insisted it was best he lived on his own.
We all nodded in agreement.
"Good? Good." Kian said clapping his hands, "Let's go." He skipped to the door stopping and turning.
We all followed him out to the cars, hopping in and headed into town.
I looked out the window taking it all in. The bright lights lit up the buildings around us as the sun began to set. It felt weird with the time difference so I wasn't actually hungry but I loved the opportunity to explore my new home town.
We pulled up to a little diner that was placed on the opposite side of the street and the rest the chain of stores consisting of t-shirt shops, candy stores, and other interesting places.
We got out of the car heading into the little diner walking over to get a seat. The sign said wait to be seated but we didn't. Instead of going to get a seat Kian pulled me over to the counter ringing the bell repetitively.
"Kian!" I said trying to stop him before the owner or workers got mad.
"It's fine," He said leaning over the counter. "Is Mia here?" He asked the waitress that had walked out to see what all the commotion was.
"Hey Kian I'll get her for you." She said disappearing into the back room.
A few seconds later a shorter Mexican lady appeared behind the counter.
"You guys are back!" She said hugging Kian from over the counter. Her eyes wandered to me and they widened,
"And is this your beautiful wife?!" She asked touching my cheek gently and smiling.
"My girlfriend actually, I'm only nineteen." Kian said smiling at me.
I laughed a little introducing myself.
"Hey! Mia! Come here!" Rickey yelled waving her over to the table.
She hurried over to the rest if them hugging each one of them happily.
"She's so sweet." I said hugging Kian around the waist.
"Ya, she is like a mother to us." Kian said.
We watched the little lady talk to the rest of the guys for a second before joining them to eat dinner.
After dinner we split up, Connor took Trevor home and went to his own house and the rest of us decided we were to tired to go out for ice cream.
"Hey, can you guys squeeze into one car? I want to take Lexy sight seeing." Kian said when we got out to the cars.
"That's fine." JJ said look at the guys who all nodded. I smiled, Kian and I hadn't had a lot of alone time lately with all the packing and goodbye party craziness.
We hopped in the car and Kian turned the car in the opposite direction of town. I frowned questioningly but he just smiled speeding up a little. We drove past our street and kept going as the sun set.
The street lights came on lighting our path as we drove. I put my window down sticking my hand out of the window drawing patterns in the warm breeze.
After ten or fifteen minutes he slowed down turning the car down a road surrounded by trees. It was a short road leading to a parking lot.
We parked getting out. I could smell the ocean in the breeze which made me smile, we were at a beach.
"Come on." Kian said taking my hand and dragging me down the sandy path to the crystal water.
The moon reflected off the ocean even though there was still a hint of red in the sky. I caught my breath taking in the beauty.
"You up for a Cali style swim?" Kian asked.
"Cali style?" I asked even though I was pretty sure I knew the answer.
He took his shirt off, "Cali style." He said again.
I laughed, he was crazy. I got undressed following him into the water. I was actually terrified there were sharks but I tried not to think about it to much.
We swam around for a while before we both started to shiver.
"Well this was great, but you forgot one thing," I said shivering, "Towels."
We went back up to the car and he opened the trunk throwing a towel at me.
"I'm not stupid." He said rolling his eyes. I laughed a little drying off and putting my clothes back on. I wrapped the towel around my head earning a funny look from Kian before getting back in the car.
We drove back to the house with the music on low not saying much. When we got home everyone was already in their rooms, most likely asleep.
Kian took an air mattress up to his room and inflated it while I changed.
I shuffled into his room half asleep plopping down on the bed. He walked in the room a few seconds later doing the same thing.
I snuggled into his arms taking a breath, it felt nice to lay down.
"Did you have a good first day?" Kian asked quietly.
"Ya. I did." I answered smiling a little, even though he couldn't see it.
"Good." He said.
"Goodnight baby I love you." I said surrendering to my exhaustion.
"Goodnight, I love you too." He answered. And with that we both fell asleep.
