"oh please for god's sake someone just unplug the phone I'm tired"
a staff yelled as she ran past me.
there was a commotion going on all around me, all the staffs didn't even have a moment to spare to breathe, phones won't stop ringing - this is all because of me.
"the meeting is about to start"
manager-nim gently tapped on my shoulder.
I slightly nod as I walk towards the conference room with a shaky mind.
it wasn't my first time encountering this matter but it gave me a really ominous feeling this time.
my eyes meet with him as I enter the room.
"don't worry it's going to be alright, we dodged this last time as well"
minhee gives me a reassuring smile as I take the seat beside him.
"I don't know minhee.. I don't feel really good about this.. something doesn't feel right.."
"okay now"
ceo-nim starts talking as he exchanges a look with starship's ceo, they gesture at a staff who nods and the ipad screen in front of us brightens as a news is shown,
"BREAKING NEWS! (G)-DREAM'S FIA AND CRAVITY'S MINHEE ARE DATING?"
another one.. when are they going to leave me and minhee alone?
I sigh and minhee looks at me worriedly.
"what's the artists' say in this?"
starship's ceo asks for our opinion.
"it's not true, ceo-nim, fia is just a good friend of mine, she is a sister like figure to me"
minhee defends.
"so as it is to me, the answer is the still the same, there are no romantic feelings involved"
I gulp as I say sharply.
they stay quiet for a while as they check something in their ipads and discuss.
"team leader, how is the public's reaction?"
ceo-nim asks.
"yes sir, as you can see,"
the team leader changes the ipad screen.
"positive reactions have filled the bar, 72% are hoping it's true, they are supportive"
she finishes as the graph chart shows the percentage.
"72 percent.. that's a lot.."
I exchange an anxious look with minhee and we knew, it was over - agencies make it public if the percentage is even at least 40 percent.
