"h-hey youngtae !"
I stutter as I pick up the call.
"what's with the stuttering, you alright?"
taeyoung's confused voice was heard from the other side.
"h-huh? what? what are you talking about"
I awkwardly laugh in reply.
"but h-"
"oh hey are you free later? can we meet?"
I tried to change the topic.
"ahh yup, I'm free, I'm just waiting to eat anyways. ruby is trying this new recipe and we are all currently waiting"
"aww that's so adorable"
"is that fia? tell her I'll pack some for her as well"
I heard ruby saying.
"no no taeyoung! tell ruby it's alright! I just ate lunch like an hour ago and-"
"fia.. it's 6 and you ate lunch at 5 pm?? its almost dinner time what do you mean!?"
taeyoung nagged at me like a mom, ignoring my other words.
"I mean I ate at least !! I didn't skip it"
I pout.
"and what did you eat?"
"..a.. juice..?"
I sheepishly laugh.
"what-"
"AND A BREAD !!"
"fia.. you call that.. a lunch..? I swear this freaking diet system needs to freaking disappear like what's with this unhealthy diet I just- no it can't be helped- ruby pack a big lunch box for fi- is she she on diet again? come on-"
taeyoung and ruby's continuous voices were heard.
"hey! I'll talk to you later, I'm actually in the middle of something right now I need to finish this soon so that we can meet sooner I'll come to pick you up so see you later bye byee"
I said hurriedly and hung up.
"phew"
I sighed in relief as I fixed my bangs.
"your boyfriend?"
the staff said as she peeked at me.
I nodded with a laugh.
"that was close, the surprise almost got ruined"
she chuckled.
"I know right!"
I exhaled as I continued drawing.
"but things aside, it looks really good! you're great at drawing"
