Chapter 17

A few days passed on after that day. Many things happened. I was the target of their thirst as well. But they still had to drink Yui's blood. I was successful enough in some situations to protect Yui like grab her and run away. Then, those dreams I have been dreaming lately.

They're all.....somewhat...connected..All of it...But I can't remember what happened in some dreams.......

"Excuse me, are you Kuromi Fukuyama?" A couple of female students gathered around me in the corridor, making me stop walking.

Why are they speaking to me...

I just nodded to their question and asked if there was something they needed from me. I am usually an invicible girl to them but now, they suddenly noticed me and speaked to me.

"Ah,well, you see, we were wondering..." The other girl said, fiddling with her fingers, kinda nervous. "What's your relationship with the Sakamaki?"

Huh?

"Could you possibly be their relative?"

"No.."

"Are you one of the brothers' girlfriend then?"

................What the.....hell.....Ah....I forgot those boys were popular in this school.....Sigh...

"Why are you asking me this?" I sighed deeply, crossing my arms and closing my eyes half way. Though, I already knew the answer myself, I just asked them that.

"Because we see you with them!" Another girl gave me that short answer. "So, what is your reason? We want to know so badly!" She impatiently said, though curious enough to know.

I could feel her jealousy somehow. .How am I going to answer that...? I can't tell them that I live with them...They might want to become friends with me to take the advantage...

The girls were getting impatient at me since I wouldn't reply but they completely forgotten about it once they saw a certain someone. They run off to that person, leaving me alone.

.....Fan girls....I sshould go now or they'll corner me again and ask me again...I wonder though...

But due to the curiousity, I went to their direction to see what's going on. It's a good thing I'm tall enough to see the face at least.

I saw this guy. He had curly blonde hair and a pretty face. It was also familiar to me. I couldn't put my finger on it but I just sighed and left the place to head to my class.

I slid the door open and headed towards my seat. I looked around to see if Yui was around earlier, but didn't see her.

....I feel way too tired somehow to go find her...

Because of my recent condition and that's being anemic, my body feel heavy than usually. I didn't feel it earlier until I entered the class. It's probably taking affect.

...How am I supposed to protect her in this kind of condition?...

I thought of considering eating Vitamin B1 to increase the speed of reproduction of my blood cells since it takes some time for it to reproduce. I had it since I was young...I lose a bit of blood and it takes time for it to actually reproduce. Very unusual for a human like me.

"I want to sleep.." I muttered to myself, yawning a bit. I am anemic, my blood is slow in producing again plus I don't get enough sleep due to hindrances.

....How nice...

"Excuse me, is...What's her name again? Ah, I remember! Is Kuromi here~?" I heard a male's sweet voice call my name but I didn't bother to look so he would just go away. But my classmates' actions says otherwise.

The students in the class I am in, all paused on what they were doing and focus their gazes at me. This was a sign that I am in and how I look like specifically to the male.

.....Ugh....I don't want to deal with his questions or whatever right now...I'm not in the mood to...I'm so tired....

The guy walked to the front of my desk and looks at me as I looked at him as well.

Wait a minute...He's the guy earlier....The guy those girls ran off to...

"So you're Kuromi? Heh...You're actually cute~" The blonde guy chuckled, amused by my facial features.

"...Thank you...I guess," I nonchalantly thanked him for the comment. "Is there something you need?" I went straight to the point to get this over with now since my foul mood makes me impatient than usual.

"Ah, right, almost forgot," He said, realizing his purpose here. Next thing he did was, walk over to my side and whispered something into my ear.

"Head to the rooftop after school."

Then he pulled back and smiled. "Alright?"

I nodded, covering the ear he whispered into with one hand since I felt his breath tickle my ear. He waved his hand and walked away.

After he left the class, I placed my arms on the desk, and rested my head on it. I felt a deadly glares being shot onto me during that time. I don't even get why they were doing such a thing.

Ah, whatever, there's still 15 minutes left for me to nap.....I'll wake up when I hear a bell kind of noise anyways...

And with that, I closed my eyes, ignored the piercing glares and drifted into dreamland.
