Chapter 18

Classes ended after a few hours with the bell ringing as a sign of dismissal. I was still on my chair, fixing my things. Yui was also there, fixing her own things .

...I should tell her...

"Hey, Yui," I said, getting out of my chair, my bag on my shoulder. She looked at me and asked what is it.

"I still have somewhere to go, is it okay if you can wait for me?" I asked since I feel like something will happen at home if I'm not around.

"Eh? Uhm..Sure, but why?" She said, curious to know.

I rubbed the back of my neck, not sure on how will I say it without making her want to come. I'm getting a bad feeling if she comes as well.

"I just need to meet someone," I answered, hoping she won't ask if she can tag along.

"Ah, is that so?...I'll wait for you then," She smiled.

"Okay, but wait for me in the infirmary," I smiled a bit and walked out of the room and headed to the place that the guy from earlier told me to come.

...What does he want from me anyway?... Ah, reminds me of earlier...Most of the girls during the whole class periods and breaks have been intensively glaring at me since before I napped..Has something to do with him....Definitely..

I sighed deeply with these thoughts filling my mind as I arrived on the rooftop at last. I looked around to see if he was there but no one was in sight.

"I must've been tricked..." I told to myself.

"So you did come, M-neko-chan~" A familiar voice whispered to my ears, surprising me. I turned to see it was him. "I thought you would never come since it's already past dismissal."

"So, what is it you want?" I went straight to the point and asked him what is his purpose for calling me to go up here.

"You're straight-forward, huh?" He smiled at me. "I wanted to ask you this. Well, actually, he asked me to do this."

"He?"

"What's your relationship with the Sakamaki?" The guy asked me, his other eye glowing red.

...Wait? Glowing red??...

"Tell me who you are to ask first." I requested. He looked at me suprised by my condition.

"You don't recognize me?" He said pointing at himself with a questioning look on his face. "Haven't you seen me on tv before?"

"Well, I wouldn't have asked you if I did," I sighed. "On tv...huh.."

"Heh...This is second time someone doesn't know who I am~" He said before chuckling and smirking at me. "My name is Kou Mukami, M-neko-chan~"

...Kou...Kou...Kou Mukami....

"Ah! Now I remember, you're that Idol," Finally I remembered who he was and said this aloud. Kou chuckled lightly again and spoke, "So you do know who I am, huh~?"

"The maid from my house is a fan of yours and would always talk to ne about you and be so noisy when she gets to watch you in the television." I scratched my cheek with my index finger as I said so.

"Heh~ Since I told you my name, tell me your reason for being with the Sakamaki."

His eye again...

"Ah, right....I...I am living with them."

"And why is that?"

"Because I had to..For her safety."

Kou moved his face closer to mines and now we are an inch apart. He was looking directly into my golden yellow eyes which made me feel uncomfortable honestly. "...Hey...Can you not be so close to me..?" I averted my eyes from him and took a step back.

"....By her....Do you mean for Yui's security, M-neko-chan?"

That made my eyes widen. It was a sign for him that what he guessed was right.

How does he know her? Also, M-neko-chan....?

"So it's like that, huh? You're living with the Sakamaki, just for protecting Yui's safety...That means...You know they're vampires." He chuckled once again, making me confused on why he knows they are vampires.

But they didn't tell anyone...It can't be....He's...!

"Hmm~" Kou hummed, amused by my slighty shocked expression. "Anyway, I have to go now since I've done what I needed to do. Bye bye M-neko-chan~" He then left before I could even respond.

I was left on the rooftop, my words or questions that were in my mind never left my lips.

There were other vampires in this school as well....And to make matters worst, they know Yui. If they know Yui and the Sakamaki brothers that much....

"Wait a minute..Yui!" Remembering that the said female is waiting for me in the nurse's clinic, I immediately walked away to the destination, putting away all of my thoughts away to focus on just her.
