"H-help me! I-I'm drowning!" A very young red-haired boy struggled in the middle of the lake while a beautiful but seemingly cruel purple-haired adult watched him.
"Mom! H-Help!" The boy cried and begged for his mother to rescue him from the water but the mom did nothing but say, "You deserve this for being so disobedient."
The boy kept on crying out to his mother but she then walked away from the boy and to somewhere else. It was hopeless for him. He was going to drown and no one is there to save him.

Until, a small girl with long scarlet red hair jumped into the lake, swimming towards the boy and brought him to land.He was unconscious and the girl had no idea what to do. She wanted to get some help, but who would care enough to help? No one would since "they" said it's normal.
"Hey, Aya-kun... Wake up..... What should I...Aya-kun!! WAKE UP!!!" She held his shoulders and shook him back and forth, seeing if he will become conscious. Slowly, the boy started to open his eyes but the girl was panicking to much to even notice it at all.
"O-Oi! Cut that out, idiot!" The boy pushed her away but it was not rough to hurt the her, before he started to cough out some water.
"Aya-kun..." The girl's eyes started to water from seeing the boy was alright that she hugged him tight. "I'm glad you're okay! I thought you were going to die!" She whined, burying her face in his chest.
"I'm a vampire, an immortal creature. There is no way I can die that easily! You know better than that, idiot!" He clicked his tongue and hit her head with his hand due to her idiocy. She let go of him, held the top of her head and pouted, her eyes still watery. "You don't have to hurt me, Aya-kun!"
"It's your fault for being so stupid!"
"I'm not stupid! I'm smart enough to memorize the periodic table!"
"If you were then you wouldn't have thought that I was going to die!"
" I couldn't help it! You're a precious person to me and so I had to thought that you, who I care so much, was about to disappear in my life!"
The boy became speechless after hearing what she said. It made him flattered to know there is actually someone other than those two that cares for him that way. He felt loved. Something that his mother would never show towards him.
The girl wiped away her remaining tears and smiled. "Wanna play?" He looked at her and nodded, "but if mom finds out about this, she'll punish me for slacking. It's all your fault then."
"Eh? That's so mean! Why mines?"
"Because you were the one who suggested it, of course!"
"...Puu...Fine! Let's just play!"
The two played together hide-and-seek for who knows how long. They had fun and the boy was glad he actually had time for some fun since studying bored and kinda lonely.
"Hmph, so this is what you have been doing this whole time, hm?" The woman from earlier looked at the two children with a cold stare. "Instead of being in your room, you and this useless girl are out here, playing! And just like this girl, you are being a useless child!" She shouted at the two furiously to what they have been doing.
"I don't see anything bad with it," The young female child fearlessly spoke back to the lady which just made her blood boil.
"Why you little--" The lady grabbed the girl's hair and pulled it. The child felt pain and tried to get her hands of her hair. "You have so much guts to speak to me like that! You're nothing but a pathetic and no-good human, you hear me! It makes me wonder why he even allowed you and your worthless mother to live here!"
The girl growled at the lady in anger. "You can call me pathetic or whatever but don't you EVER say bad things about my MOTHER!" She shouted at her before biting her arm hard, making hee let go of her hair.
"Brat.." The lady held her arm that was bitten by the fearless girl and what she did next is something to make her remember to never do anything like this.
"Let go of me, you old hag!" The child tried to struggle free from the lady's grip on her wrists as they entered a room and that's when the lady forcefully threw her in the room before heading out and locking the door. The boy watched this, unsure what he should do for he could never stand against his own mother so he just watch the girl who was in pain.
"Let me out of here!!" The girl banged on the door, trying to break it but she couldn't. She is just a normal human, she can't do anything like vampires and such.
"And as for you, you are going to study in your room and you are not allowed to go outside, understood?" The lady warned the boy who just obediently nodded and the lady left, leaving him in front of the room that the girl kept on banging on.
"I warned you about what may happen, idiot..." And thus, he left the girl.
"Aya-kun? Aya-kun! Don't leave me alone! It's lonely in here! Aya-kun!!" She repeatedly banged the door, slowly losing her strenght to continue and lays her back against the door, sittng on the floor. She hugged her knees and buried her face in them, starting to cry.
"...Don't leave me here...I don't want to be all by myself...."
I sat up from my bed with my ees wide open as I started to breathe heavily. My heart was racing two times quicker than normal and I was sweating in what seems to be fear.
"What in the world.....? What did I just dream about? No..Who were they?" I said to myself, holding my head.
I couldn't see their faces clearly...they're eyes were blurred...Though, they seemed awfully familiar... Ugh...My head is throbbing again...
"I need to tell this Yui.." I got out of bed and walked to her room since earlier I told Yui that next time I would not hide things like this from her because hiding stuff like this makes her worried.
I don't want to trouble her by making her worried after all...
