Chapter 12

The next day..

After that incident, I started to feel dizzy the next day and it's all becase Shuu drank a bit too much from my neck and my blood doesn't multiply that quickly like most people does. It's a strange thing for a normal human like me.

"Hey, Kuromi-san, you look pretty pale, are you sure you're okay?" Yui, who is currently beside me while walking downstairs, asked with a worried look on her face. I looked at her for a moment and faked a smile which wasn't obvious it was fake. "Yeah, I'm alright, how about you? Do you feel better now?"

"Yeah..I am now..." Yui smiled to reassure she is.

Earlier, I went to Yui's room to check up on her and when I did, I saw Laito in the room, biting and sucking her blood so I grabbed her and left the room. He was following us since he wanted to try my blood but I was able to make him shoo away and there is no need to know how.

"Uhm..Kuromi-san?"

"Yeah?"

"What really happened to you? You told me you would tell me when we reached home but you haven't said a word."

I froze for a minute and she stopped as well, looking at me with concern. I sighed deeply, and looked at her.

I guess I did, huh? I have to tell her then...

"Well, you see--"

"Oi! You guys are being too loud!"

A loud shout interupted me, making me curious where its coming from. Yui was also curious but at the same time worried on what's going on.

"What's happening?" She questioned me, seeing if I have an idea.

"I don't know, maybe they're arguing or something..?" Unsure of this idea of mines, I shrugged. "Wanna go check it out? But we gotta be careful not to be spotten, something bad might happen if we were caught."

"Un..I'm kinda curious to know," She smiled a bit as I grab her wrist and went down the final steps of the stairs, heading to the living room which I bet the noise is coming from. As we got closer, the noise became clearly audible and we spotted the boys.

Just as I thought...Arguing...

Me and Yui peaked from the side of the wall and started to eavesdrop at their conversation.

"Oh, shut up, Laito! There is no way she is that person. They are different, very different," Ayato had his arms crossed and his eyebrows were furrowed.

"But if you look closely she looks exactly like her~" Laito chuckled, trying to convince Ayato.

She? Are they talking about a girl?

"Hah? This is about some girl? Is that way you all are so noisy?" Subaru who seemed so pissed off, asked in an agitated way.

It's probably because he was sleeping...

"Not just any girl...It's that girl..." Shuu, laying on the couch as usual, yawned like he had no interest. Subaru had a puzzled look on his face, not gettin them at all. "That girl?"

"That's right, that girl, the one who died a couple of years ago, the one who didn't know anything about mannerisms ," Reiji made it clearer for Subaru though it sounded as if he is pointing out this "girl" in a disappointed and slightly irritated way but remained calm in composture.

"Who are they talking about?" Yui questioningly asked me in a soft whispering voice. "Beats me.." I answered, unsure who it this "girl" is.

A girl that died years ago? So is this like something about their past?

"Ah, so it's about her? Why are you all talking about her?" Subaru questioned them. "Because there is someone who looked just like her and smells like her, right, Teddy? But their personalites differ.." Kanato hugged his stuffed bear tightly and cracked that somewhat freaky smile.

"That's why she could never be her, that girl would always have that delightful frightened face of hers every time she sees someone else blood," Ayato seemed to be protesting every single thing that makes this girl the girl they are talking about. "Oh, come on Ayato~ You already knew it was her when you first saw her~ Everyone did though we weren't sure if it is her, ufufu~" Laito let out that signature chuckle of his as he said so.

THUMP.

"Hey, Kuromi-san--"

"Let's go...I think we heard enough.." I sighed deeply and grabbed Yui's wrist again and quietly walked to the stairs to talk in the room. "I'll tell you everything about before," I smiled a bit, not looking back.

"Okay..."

Why did my chest feel like it was gradually becoming tighter inside while listening to them? It seriously hurts...The chest suddenly tightening without you knowing why...

"Nee, K______-chan~ It's all going to be ___________ together~ Just keep on going, okay~?" A small figure chuckled before grinning widely, watching in a distance, far from sight.

"After all, this is just the beginning of your awakening~" It chuckled once again, disappearing into thin air.
