"Oh god
I miss you too
It's all I ever do
I'm coming back to you
And I won't let go
God I miss you too
We got making up to do
I'm coming back to you
And I won't let go again"

The next day, Maeve decided to go to the restaurant Tory works at.
She sat down at a table meant for two and waited, looking down at the menu.
"Hi, I'm Tory. Are you waiting for someone or is it just you?" Tory said, standing next to the table.
Maeve looked up.
"Hey, it's just me. I was wondering if you're free after your shift." Maeve asked, smiling nervously.
"I'm working until late afternoon. Can I start you off with something?" Tory asked, trying her best to not look bothered.
"A lemonade please. I can come back later?" Maeve asked.
Tory thought for a moment.
She had been struggling to pay rent and pay for food.
Maeve would usually help her to keep her mind off of these worries for a short while. She could really use a friend right now.
But the memories of Maeve pushing her off and getting more and more distant were still fresh in her mind. Whether it was intentional or not, it still hurt her to this day.
Tory was scared that her feelings would get hurt again, by letting the girl in again.
So she decided to keep some distance between them.
"Do whatever you want. One lemonade coming up right away." Tory said with a tight smile.
Maeve sighed and looked down at her hands.
It was a stupid idea to come here. She knew what it was like to have conflicts at her job. It made one feel trapped, defenseless.
And she knew that Tory couldn't afford to lose this job.
So she decided that she should leave after drinking her lemonade.
Tory came back a few minutes later, putting her drink on her table, before moving to the next customer a few tables away from her.
"Hi, I'm Tory. We waiting for anybody or is it just you?" She asked.
"It's just me." The women answered.
Maeve didn't think anything of it and looked around the room, while sipping on her drink.
"Can I start you off with something?" Tory asked.
"Actually, there's only one thing I need. And that's for you to stay the hell away from my daughter." The woman said, making Maeve's eyes go wide.
Amanda LaRusso was sitting at the table, glaring up at Tory.
"Wait you're-" Tory started, but Amanda cut her off.
"Yes, I am." She told her.
Maeve slowly stood up as Tory looked around uncomfortably.
