"Bring it on then, little girl." Said Kyler pushing Robby away from him.

Maeve clenched her fists, as she took off her shoes and joined Kyler on the mat.

She was glad that she decided to wear jeans instead of a dress.

Robby walked towards her with a confused look on his face.

"What are you doing?" He asked, worried.

"I'm getting payback." She told him, rolling her shoulders.

"You got this Maeve!" Tory told her, with a smirk.

Robby furrowed his eyebrows. He had never seen his half sister like that. It was like he was looking at a different person. The boy was always the one fighting their fights and now she was picking her own.

Maeve walked past him and faced Kyler. Tory and some other guy had gotten two flags each and went to stand at their sides.

They bowed to each other and got into fighting positions.

Maeve might not have as much training, but she had spent most of her time watching and studying moves. And that was her advantage.

She waited for Kyler to strike first, watching how he moved his body as he went to kick her.

Maeve easily ducked under his leg and took that moment to kick at his side, which he blocked.

This time he went for a punch wich Maeve also blocked, but when she went to punch him he took her arm and flipped her onto her back, making him get the first point as he hit her chest.

Kyler laughed when Maeve coughed.

"Are you sure you're not the one that is under my level?" He asked smugly.

Maeve stood up and got into fighting position again.

She knew enough about Cobra Kai karate to know that they barely knew how to be in defensive.

So this time it was her who made the fist move, throwing punches and kicks his way.

Kyler had trouble to block them, so when she swept his feet from under him hitting his chest with her foot, he was surprised.

"You were saying?" She asked as Tory announced that she also got her first point.

Kyler huffed angrily, which was exactly what she wanted. If he was angry enough, he'd become unfocused and make mistakes.

He went to strike first again and this time he was in the offensive. Maeve had learned a few tricks from Miyagi-Do from watching them during the last couple of days, so it was surprisingly easy to block him.

She saw him lose his balance for a second and immediately took her chance to hit him, causing her to win another round.

Robby watched from the sidelines. He knew that she had been training with their dad, but he didn't expect her to be this good. Her moves looked almost effortless, but he guessed that she picked that up from her ballet classes, making her look elegant.
