"I met you in the dark

You lit me up

You made me feel as though

I was enough"

The next day Maeve went to ballet practice early.

Normally she would call in sick and help her dad clean up the apartment, but she figured since he decided to help Sam he could also call her if he needed help cleaning up.

Maybe she was being petty, but she wanted him to come to apologize to her first.

The girl winced as she grabbed her keys.

Her right hand was a bit swollen and crusted with blood from when she hit the stone floor instead of Miguel's face.

She sighed and grabbed some frozen peas to help the swelling.

When the blond arrived, she cold see that the sale sight for one of the floors was gone.

Maeve slowly made her way up the steps.

"Good morning Maeve, you're early today." Her teacher greeted her with a big smile.

"Here comes one of my best students." She heard a familiar voice say.

Maeve wasn't surprised when she saw Silver sitting at one of the waiting tables, normally preoccupied by the moms.

He'd been spending a lot of time in the studio lately, wich she didn't mind.

Silver was surprisingly educated when it came to ballet, Maeve assumed it was a rich people thing.

The man seemed to enjoy the music most of all, always playing the piano for them.

He even showed Maeve a few melodies since she always wanted to play.

"I was just telling your teacher about your improvements in the dojo. Maeve has the potential to become one of the best." He told her.

Maeve was glad that she had at least someone that believed in her.

She got ready and waited for the other girls to arrive.

When training was over Maeve quickly changed into her waitress outfit and said bye to the girls.

She rushed outside hurrying because she knew she'd be late again.

"Where are you running off to?" Silver asked her as he walked outside to his car.

"Oh, I'm heading to work. Only way I can afford both karate and ballet" Maeve told him.

"That's good, working for your goals. I can drop you off if you want?" He asked her gesturing to his car.

Maeve thought about it for a moment. But she figured her boss would be pleased if she was on time.

So she made her way towards the car and hopped in.

It was silent for a time, Maeve looking out of the window.

"So, what happened to your hand?" The man asked gesturing to her right hand that was still hurting a little.

"I kinda got in a little fight with LaRusso's daughter and Miguel Diaz. I wanted to hit Diaz, but hit the stone floor instead." She told him.
