The next day at school, Maeve was talking to Tory and Piper about Prom.

She still didn't know if she would go, seeing as her and Eli were no longer dating.

The blond was quite sad about it, she already bought a dress.

"Hey. Isn't that your dad?" Piper asked suddenly, pointing behind the girl.

Maeve turned around, only to see her dad talking to Miguel.

"Field trip. You and me, let's go." Johnny told him.

Maeve's mouth fell open.

He couldn't be serious. She told him last night what she thought about the new family thing and that she wasn't okay with him choosing Miguel over her, but still he was doing it.

Maeve turned her back to them.

Now she knew how Robby felt.

After school, Maeve went straight to the dojo.

She made her way into the back room and started punching at the dummy.

"What got you so angry?" A voice asked after a few minutes.

Maeve turned around to see Silver leaning against the doorway.

"Nothing." She told him, looking back towards the dummy.

She felt herself slowly loosing control.

Her hands were shaking again.

Maeve just couldn't understand, well everything.

Why was everyone pushing her away?

Was it her fault?

If so, what did she do wrong?

She blinked away her tears and started punching and kicking again.

"Oh, nothing. Seems like you're dealing with a lot recently." Silver said making his way over to her.

"Come with me. I'll show you something." He told her.

Maeve was confused, but followed him anyway.

"I know what it's like to fight a war. Not just on the battlefield, but also inside your head. It's hard to turn off." he told her.

"Kreese told me a little something about you... and what you've been going through the last couple of years."

Maeve crossed her arms over her chest, feeling uncomfortable.

She remembered that Tory told Kreese about her struggles, hoping that he could help her. Sexual harassment, nightmares, panic attacks.

Just thinking about it, made her throat close up.

"I know what it's like to be so scared that you can't think clearly. Can't move. Can't breath." The man said, facing her.

"But you know you have to fight back. Or you'll be the one hurt all over again."
