Now it was Miguel and Eli up.

They both smiled at each other as they bumped fists and bowed.

"Fight!"

Maeve watched them fight in astonishment.

This was how it was supposed to be. A fun match, without aggression.

They both kicked at each other, missing.

They kicked and punched, blocking each other.

Suddenly Miguel kicked Eli, but the boy blocked him.

"No point, that's a block. Continue."

Miguel leaped into the air and went for a kick.

But then he winced his face scrunching up in pain and he fell to the floor.

Maeve watched him go down in slow motion.

Suddenly she was back at school.

Her breath was knocked out of her when someone kicked her down the stairs.

She sat up, looking up to see Miguel falling.

"Miguel!" Maeve yelled, but that couldn't save him.

Miguel landed on the railing with a short yell and fell down onto the steps next to her and she could swear she heard something crack, making her feel sick.

Maeve snapped back into reality and ran forward.

She fell down next to Hawk as her dad came forward too.

Miguel was whimpering and groaning on the floor.

"No, no. You're going to be okay. I promise." Maeve told him, holding his hand, just like back then.

Her voice was higher that normal, a sign that she was panicking.

"Medic!" The referee yelled.

"It's gonna be okay, don't worry. It's gonna be okay." Maeve whispered, clutching his hand as he squeezed hers hard.

Miguel looked up at her and then at her dad.

A medic finally approached them.

"Sensei!" Miguel yelled out in pain.

The medic pushed her away so that she could asses the situation.

Maeve curled in on herself, trying hard to breath.

"Maeve?" She cold see a blurry red dot come towards her.

Johnny crouched down next to her as he watched his daughter slowly lose control over her own body.

He touched her shoulder.

"Maeve? What's wrong?" He asked, slowly panicking himself as he watched Miguel getting carried away while Maeve was having a panic attack.

"I'll take it from here. She's having a panic attack." Hawk told him, impatiently waiting for Johnny to make room for him.

"What?!" Johnny asked, moving away.
