Chapter 4

"Luke, honey, you should eat" Liz said as she enter Luke's room. Luke was staring at the window of his room, sitting on his bed, with the blanket on his legs.

"I'm not hungry" Luke replied, his voice emotionless. Liz sighed and went to him, sitting beside him.

"Oh Luke" Liz gave him a look of sympathy.

"You were suppose to meet her today" Luke said, looking down at his lap, "She was supposed to be introduced at our pack as their future alpha but that won't happen anymore"

"They'll be back, Luke"

"I need her back now! I need to know she's safe! I need her here" Luke quietly sobbed and Liz wrapped her arms around his son, "I miss her so much, Mum, I can't live without her"

"My poor baby" Liz sighed and closed her eyes so her tears wouldn't spill, "The spirits will bring you back together, maybe not now...But soon"

"I was there when he took her, I couldn't do anything. I'm her mate, Mum, I was suppose to protect her from any harm, and I failed"

"No! You didn't fail. I know that you tried to do everything to keep her safe and that is enough. You have to be strong, Luke, not just for Coreen, but for me and your father, but our pack as well. We need you"

"Mum" Ben knocked on the door before opening it, "We have guests"

"Who? I don't recall inviting anyone or calling anyone to come over"

"They're shapeshifters" Luke lowly growled which made Liz wonder why.

"Erm...Tell them to wait for me in a few minutes, Ben" Liz said and Ben obeyed what his mother said.

"What's wrong, Luke?" Liz let go of him.

"It was their kind who took her from me" Luke replied.

"Get yourself fixed, Luke, I need you to be downstairs with me, it's important"

"Is he your son, Alpha Hemmings?" One of the guests asked when Luke came downstairs wearing a shirt and skinny jeans.

"Ah, yes. He is the future Alpha of my pack" His Dad replied and signalled Luke to sit beside him. Luke sat beside him.

"What brings you to our territory?" Andrew, Luke's father asked.

"We are here for your son, Luke Hemmings" The girl said and looked at Luke, "Hello, Luke. I'm Victoria and I know where your mate is"

"What? W-Where is she?" Luke asked, feeling a weight has been lifted from his chest.

"But I need you to cooperate Luke. You have to do everything as I say to get her back. Jaime, where is Aiden now"

"He's at our parents house" The blonde bloke who is beside her replied.

"Now..."

"You. Did. What?!" Perrie asked, shocked at what Eleanor told her.

"Shh!" Eleanor shushed her, "I don't know what came over me!"

"Why did you do that?" Perrie whisper-yelled.

"I told you! I don't know what the hell came over me!"

"Do the girls know?" Perrie asked.

"No, I don't know how to tell them, I'm worried they might freak out or something" Eleanor replied, fidgeting with her thumb, "Are there marshmallows here? I need to think!"

"Wait! I think I found one here!" She stood up and went to a cupboard and searched. A few minutes later, she went back to Eleanor and handed her the pack. Eleanor opened it and stuffed some marshmallows in her mouth.

"Hey! Be careful! You might choke or something! This ain't a chubby bunny challenge!" Perrie scolded.

"I don't know what came over me to do that!" Eleanor said after swallowing all of the marshmallows she chewed, "And my wolf, she didn't even snarled at me to stop, she was okay with it"

"Woah...Okay" Perrie was speechless, "Where are the girls anyway?"

"At the garden...I think"

"NO! Get that little monster away from me!" Danielle shrieked and hid behind Sophia. Coreen help up the huge grasshopper she caught.

"Oh no! You ain't including me in that shit that thing is huge as fuck!" Sophia moved away from them.

"It's just a grasshopper, calm down" Coreen rolled her eyes as the grasshopper started to twitch.

"Get that away from me!" Danielle ran as Coreen chased her. Her hold on the grasshopper losened which gave the grasshopper and opportunity to escape.

"No!" "Yes!" Coreen and Danielle cried.

"Fine!" Coreen mumbled and Danielle sighed in relief. Coreen looked around and spotted a tarantula on the ground. A smile crept on Coreen's face and Danielle backed away slowly.

"No...Just find another grasshopper, Coreen" Danielle said raising her hands in front of her. Coreen went to the spider and held it at it's back.

"It's gonna get 'cha!" Coreen ran to Danielle while holding the spider towards her. Danielle screamed and ran away. The spider was twitching.

"NO! Stop it!" Coreen laughed and kept on chasing Danielle.

"You know what, I fear for your poor life" Coreen said and went to a tree and put the tarantula there.

"You little bitch" Danielle said.
