Chapter 13

"Where is Coreen? I fucking told you to stay here and watch over her!" Luke yelled, his face turning red with anger. His fists were curled as he shoot daggers at the wolf.

"Alpha...I--I" The wolf stuttered, sweat dripping down his forehead as he look everywhere but Luke.

"Someone came in and casted a sleep spell on them. They're not immune to sleep spells Alpha. And we saw this note" Carter entered the room and headed to Luke. Luke snatched the note and read what it says.

"Consider yourself a lucky kid since I cut your father's head and not yours...but if we meet again, I won't just it, I'll burn it...Along with you precious mate"

"Find this man!" Luke ordered and threw the note on the ground, "And search for Coreen, do not stop until you find her"

"Alpha...The warwolves and patrollers are tired, they need--"

"I don't give a damn if they're tired! They will search for Damien Heatherson and my mate! Send out the warwolves and patrollers now! This is not a request! This is an order! An order from your Alpha! You. Get out of my sight before I rip your head off!" He pointed at the wolf and the wolf ran out of the room. Luke sat at his father's leather chair, rubbing his forehead.

I've lost so much...Luke thought.

"Alpha--"

"Do as I say, Carter! Do. It. Now!" Luke ordered.

"Yes, Alpha" Carter stepped out of the room. Luke's phone buzzed.

"This better be important" Luke mumbled as he took is phone out of his pocket.

"What?"

"Luke, mate. I...I--"

"Can you just get to the point, Ash? I really have a lot of going on"

"We've been attacked Luke, even Michael and Calum's pack! And now yours, we think something's going on. What if someone's planning this?"

"Someone is planning this. And I know who"

"Who?"

"Coreen? Jesus Christ, what the hell happened to you?" Danielle asked, concern dripping from her voice.

"Luke...And his pack" Tears brimmed in Coreen's eyes as everything flashed in her mind.

"C'mon, let's go get you cleaned up" Danielle said and guided her to Danielle's room.

"You can use my bathroom, I'll just go and get some spare clothes for you"

"Now tell me what happened" Coreen is now clean. She has changed into the spare clothed Danielle lend her and they're now sitting on the bed.

"My family was at Luke's pack, we were having a pretty good time but a bunch of rogues came out and attacked Luke's pack. Damien was there Dani...And...And" Coreen couldn't finish her sentence because a sob escaped her mouth.

"Shh...Hey" Danielle pulled Coreen in a hug.

"I left my mate all alone! I feel so guilty...I don't know what to think"

"You were afraid, no one ever thinks straight whenever they are afraid" Danielle said.

"I should've been there for him...I was his mate and I failed to help him!"

"Stop blaming yourself! You never wanted this to happen!"

"I need to go back! I need to know if he's okay!"

"You'll go back tommorow, for now you need to rest"

I hate myself, I understand if you guys too. Oh, also, school is going to start here in The Philippines in three weeks so I might not be able to update much.
