Chapter 10

"I didn't know Eleanor is in your pack" Coreen says as they step inside Luke's room. Luke shifted back and took his towel, wrapping it on his waist.

"What are you talking about? The Calders don't live here" Luke replied and headed to his closet. Coreen sat at Luke's bed.

"What do you mean? She was here, I talked to her, she told me she lives here" Coreen replied with a frown.

"Coreen" Luke said, "The Calders live in London, we are in Australia" He stated. Then who did I talk to? Coreen thought.

"What's wrong?" Luke approached her and sat beside her, holding her hands. Coreen looked at Luke with worry.

"While I was waiting outside for you...I saw Eleanor and she approached me. I asked her what she was doing here and she told me she lives here. I know the person I saw is her"

"We'll send out patrollers tonight. It might be a shapeshifter tresspassing in our territory. Don't worry. Wht don't you call her now? You can use my phone" Luke opened his drawer and handed her his phone. Coreen took it and said thanks before typing Eleanor's landline number.

"Hello? Who is this?" Someone asked, it sounded like a woman.

"Erm...This is Coreen, a friend of hers, is she there?"

"She's resting now due to the amount of fractures she has, would you like to leave a message?"

"Erm...Please tell here I hope she's well and that we could talk sometime"

"Of course, is that all?"

"Erm, how long has she been resting?"

"Eversince she got here. Her wolf was taking longer to heal because of the severe trauma she went through. She was saying someone's name"

"May I ask who it is?" Coreen asked curiously.

"I think it was Aiden? I'm not sure since it was coming out in mumbles, do you know who he is?"

"Yes, he's important to her" Coreen replied. She saw the way Eleanor would look at him and vice versa, but there were questions bothering her? Why would she look at him that way? Why would Louis leave her?

"Oh, well I must go. Ms. Calder needs me right now" She said and Coreen replied an 'okay' before the line went dead.

"How is she?" Luke asked.

"She has a few fractures but she's okay."

"Alpha! Help! We are being ambushed!" Carson entered the room, clutching his ribs which were bleeding.

"Liz! Call in the nurse!" Andrew said as he head out of the room, with Luke behind her. They got outside and saw their pack members fighting off shapeshifters.

Coreen looked at the horrifying view outside with wide eyes. They were being ambushed again, and Luke was there, she could see his snow white fur dripping with blood. She wanted to go out there and help but she might just become a distraction to Luke and she isn't strong enough.

"Coreen, why don't you sit down?" Shirley suggested, "I know this isn't the time for that but Luke wouldn't want you to worry yourself too much" She added. A familiar scent filled her nostrils and she spun around, seeing him at the couch, a smug smirk on his face.

"Who are you?" Shirley asked, heading towards Coreen's side, "And how did you get in here?"
