Chapter 7

"Time for you to go" Was all he said when the girls got into Aiden's office. That familiar thick black smoke appeared.

Coreen gasped and sat up straight and looked around; the girls nowhere to be seen. She noticed she's in a unfamiliar room and she heard sobs of the bed. She got up and headed towards the bed and his scent hit her hard.

"Luke?" Coreen whispered. Luke stopped sobbing and turned his head.

"Coreen? Princess is that you?" Luke wiped his tears and got up from his bed. His fingers caressed her cheek and whispered, "Is this really you?"

"Yes, Luke" Coreen smiled and held his hand, leaning onto his palm, "It's really me"

"Oh my God! I missed you so much! I thought I wasn't gonna see you, again" Luke wrapped his arms around her.

"Me too" Coreen replied, "What happened to you? You look so pale, I'm sorry for being gone for so long" Coreen pulled away and cupped Luke's face with her hands.

"You're really here" Luke smiled, "My parents have to know this! They'll be thrilled to see you!"

"Hello darling! My name is Liz" Liz smiled at Coreen and hugged her. She whispered a 'thank you' before pulling away.

"I'm Andrew, Luke's father"

"It's an honor to meet you both" Coreen replied and held Luke's hand. Luke looked down at her and smiled.

"Now why don't we just leave these these two some time alone, hmm?" Andrew suggested.

"But why? I want to talk to my future daughter-in law?" Liz asked.

"C'mon" Andrew pulled her and left the two.

"I'm really glad you're here. Sit down and I'll, uh...Just get myself cleaned up. Gretchen! Bring the guests some food!" Luke ran upstairs taking two steps at a time and as if on cue, a maid stepped in the room and placed a plate of sandwitch and a glass of apple juice on the table in the middle of the three leather couches and left. Coreen sat down and took a sip of her drink then a bite of her sandwitch.

Mmmm...Oh my God, this is so good! Coreen thought as she took another bite of her sandwitch. She finished her sandwitch and a few minutes later Luke came downstairs wearing a blue jacket and blackshirt and skinny jeans.

"Let's go! I have to bring you to my secret place" Luke smiled and approached her, holding her hand then they went out of the house.

"Where?" Coreen asked.

"You'll see" Luke replied.

Luke parked his car and they stopped at a lake surrounded by trees. They stepped out of the car and Coreen admired the beautiful view of nature. Luke approached her and held her hand and they walked to the lake.

"Do you like it?" Luke asked.

"Yeah, it's beautiful. Thank you for bringing me here, Luke" Coreen replied, looking up at him with a smile.

"I promised myself that one day, if I find my mate, I would bring her here. And I want our wedding to be here" Luke admitted.

"Wait, wedding?" Coreen asked, shocked.

"Yeah, but not today. I know you still want to pursue your dream as an actress" Luke replied and pressed a kiss on her forehead.

"Oh...I thought you wanted to get married all ready" Coreen sighed in relief, "I'll marry you soon"

"Of course you would, who wouldn't?" Luke joked and Coreen playfully rolled her eyes. They peacefully layed down the grass, looking at the clear blue sky.

"I'm so glad you're here" Coreen faced Luke to see his eyes glowing bright blue, which means his wolf was in control of his body, "It was hell without you here with me"

"I won't leave you ever again" Coreen placed a hand on his cheek, "I promise you that"

"I love you" Luke leaned down on her touch, "So much"

"I love you too, and this time, nothing will tear us apart"
