You lose everything when you don't love yourself, and gain everything when you do.
~ Rupi Kaur, Home Body
I know, it sounds boring, or lame. It's what your teacher uses to explain diversity or evolution. I thought the same, but once I finally convinced myself to listen to some, my mindset was forever changed.
Perhaps it won't be that simple for you, and that's ok. Everyone is different!
Which, I know, hearing that can be really annoying considering people say it all the time, but take it to heart and I promise, it means something.
Below I'm going to put down some amazing motivational Ted Talks. Throughout this book, I'll put more at the end of each chapter that relates to that topic.

Another option other than Ted Talks, are podcasts!
I listen to my podcasts on Spotify, to be honest. (I know, I'm cheap lol) However, there are many other sites that you can use!
At the end of each chapter, I'll also give you guys a podcast or just an episode of one, I'll also give you the platform it's on to hopefully help you out!

The Benefits Of Podcasts And Ted Talks
- Relatable. Find a Ted Talk or a Podcast that you can relate to, and that's enough.
- Motivation. That's a big thing. Motivation is everything at this age.
- Laughs. If you're listening to a podcast and you laugh, you know you found a good one.
- Inspiration. Like motivation, it'll keep you going. Trust me.
- Gaining Confidence. In the end, it all adds up. You take it all to heart and you'll mindset and self-image could be changed for the better.

Making Sure It Helps
Again, this isn't for everyone, so It may not help. However, if you listen to at least one episode of a podcast a day, or one Ted Talk a day, that can make all the difference.
It may be hard to get into it at first, it was for me, but now I listen to Podcasts all the time, as well as a daily Ted Talk.
Don't stress about needing to listen to them though. Don't force it on yourself either. There are many different methods and ways to get to that endpoint that you're looking at. And guess what, I'm going to try and include them all in this book!
