The sun blared in the clear blue sky which showed no hint of rain and everyone wished it would be kept that way till the end of the day. Lovely flowers bloomed in the streets to the courtesy of Isabela and donkeys were carried and and houses were moved by the great strength of the muscly Luisa. The streets were bustling with activity and the markets weren't the only ones that were loud. The entire village was over-the-top for the next, and temporarily, the last gifting ceremony of the Madrigal family.

In a certain room away from the rest, two girls lay on the bed. Low and soft breathings were what Dolores heard after trying to sleep through the entire night of the two's giggling and endless chattering. The door sprung open, colliding against the wall and ringing a loud thud but neither girls flinched nor awoken in the slightest.

Camilo snorted at the two with an amused grin. His eyes fell on his cousin, her mouth wide open and her eyes not holding the spectacles she always had. Her arms and feet were sprawled and it looked like she had knocked off her blanket.

He then glanced at Elena, his girlfriend and slapped a hand to his mouth to control the laughter. Her body was as still as a statue, her mouth open but not wide. Her body was securely tucked within the warm blanket though her arms were out, laying still against her sides as if she were an actual corpse or soldier. "These two..... So different." He sighed with a laugh.

Camilo cracked his knuckles with a smirk and cleared his throat. His thin stature transfigured to a buff, tall figure with a spin. "WAKE UP!!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, his smirk growing when Elena and Mirabel jolted up, yelping in fright and rolled out of bed falling to the floor with a thud.

Mirabel groaned with a roll of her eyes, glaring at her cousin who was clutching his stomach and wiping his tears from all the laughter. She opened her mouth but closed it immediately when she heard another groan. "O-oi, Mirabel, get off me." The said girl gasped and jumped off her best friend who was barely breathing. Camilo's eyes widened and he stopped laughing, helping his groggy and paining girlfriend up.

"I think I probably hit my head a little too hard."

Her hands massaged her forehead, blowing the hair out of her face to showcase a clear, pinkish bruise on the side of her head. Camilo gasped and grabbed her hand with a nervous chuckle.

"I'm sorry, princesa, I was just joking! I didn't know you'd hit your head so hard!"

"It's ok, bebé, I can put some ice-"

Before she could, Elena felt herself being tugged out the door with Camilo mumbling something about Mirabel's mother's healing food. She glanced to her friend standing with a chuckle and grinned, waving at her and then resuming to catching up with her panicking boyfriend. She giggled at him, he was rather adorable.
