"Mirabel!" Camilo walked to the front porch calling for his cousin loudly, holding his tired girlfriend's hand. They had explored the top and bottom of the house, Elena wondering whether her friend had made up with Isabela yet or not. "Mirabel!"
The two paused when Camilo's powers involuntarily turned his head into that of a baby's and his body to a large and broad one. It was not only him. Ever since the dinner, everyone's abilities had been going haywire especially Camilo and his mother's, Pepa creating large storms every second.
Camilo held no emotion in his face and rolled his eyes but his lips tugged upwards when his girlfriend giggled and poked his cheeks. At least one of them was amused and enjoying. "Mirabel!" He called with his now high-pitched and squeaky voice, the two continuing their way elsewhere.

Elena's head perked up at the sound of distant laughter. A snort from her best friend and another joining from someone else. She beamed. Mirabel had succeeded. She had embraced Isabela. "What is going on?!" Abuela had managed to reach before them, her eyes throwing daggers at her granddaughters. Elena noticed the two getting up from the pile of flowers they lay at. Camilo and her stifled a laugh at Isabela covered in colorful powder from head to toe. Still very beautiful. But a mess.
"Abuela? It's okay! Everything's—" Mirabel rambled out joyfully, "We're gonna save the miracle. The magic—"
"What are you talking about? Look at your home! Look at your sister!" Abuela exclaimed in disbelief pointing to Isabela in disbelief.
Camilo enclasped his girlfriend's hands in his, the two remaining in the shadows and continuing to watch the scene unfold.
"Please just..... Isabela wasn't happy." Mirabel tried to convince but Abuela cut her off again, too infuriated to try and understand.
"Of course she isn't happy. You ruined her proposal!"
"No, no, no. She needed me to ruin her proposal. And then we did all this!" Mirabel gestured to the hanging vines of variety of flowers all around the house and Elena took a second to awe at the unlike Abuela who grunted. "And the candle burned brighter—"
