"You're gonna drag me to come whether I want it or not."

Mariano and his mother rushed out the drenched house, crying and wet everywhere from the heavy rain inside. "Señora, por favor!" Abuela chased them trying to explain the situation and change the mind about marrying Isabela.

The rest of the family followed after them, not listening to Mirabel's attempts to speak. Isabela glared at her young sister, "I hate you!" She cried through gritted teeth.

Luisa came after quickly with a series of sobs, "Ahh!!! I'm a loser!!!" Her father was behind her, calling for his daughter sadly.

"What did you do?!" Pepa frantically scolded her niece, the clouds above her still pouring rain over her. Elena and Camilo were be her, trying to calm her down although the boy was still keeping his girlfriend behind her in case his unstable mother produced a zap of lightning. Elena had been hit by that once and spent a week in the hospital and Camilo did not want that to happen again. Besides, her slightly protective father would never let her near them again.

"I'm not doing anything! It's Bruno's vision! It's—" Mirabel's distant shouts could be heard.

"The magic is strong! Everything is fine!" Abuela's voice echoed as she tried to convince the citizens who still stood with widened eyes at what they had witness. "We are the Madrigals!" She declared and slammed the door shut. "Mirabel!" Her scream could be clearly heard even from the outside along with the thunder crack that followed.

Mirabel had ended up followed a groups of mice to a newfound secret hold in the wall which led to a secret pathway within the walls. While she chased frantically after the shadow she had witness in the flash of lightning, Elena was in a nearby room with her boyfriend and his hyperventilating mother.

"Bebé, here." She smiled and handed him a warm cup of tea she had made. She always did this whenever her mother was stressed it and it seemed to calm them.

"Thank you." He softly grinned and turned to his mother. "It's okay, mami. Deep breadth in, deep breadth out." He repeated to his mother whose rapid breathing slowed down.

It had all been going well until a loud thud came from the wall behind Pepa causing the lady to jerk and shriek, the strike of lightning surprising her son who dropped the tea cup and transformed into several people every second. He grunted in pain when he bumped against his girlfriend while stumbled on the ground. "Princesa!" He gasped in shock at his girlfriend controlling her screams at the burning hot tea spilt on her arm. He helped her up and ran to get a medical kit as fast as he could.
