Well, that was a great intro. Let's get straight into it.
Last week, I talked about publishing, which, to be honest, was not the most interesting topic on the table. This week, it's reads.
Simple, easy. Really.
Now, reads are the end goal for most Wattpad writers. Even if your a "Oh-I-don't-want-reads-I-just-want-to-tell-a-story-and-trash" kind of writer, it doesn't really stop the subconscious mind from hoping for reads ( ehem, we publish for a reason ). So yeah, reads.
Okay, once again, to my only-reader friends, I present -

THE EXCRUCIATING PROCESS OF GETTING READS (by someone who knows it inside and out, really *winks*)
So, one day after publishing, you open up your wattpad account, trying to contain your excitement cause you're sure that your genius has to have gotten a million reads, at the least. But, then, you see this :
Okay, that's fine. 31 reads and 0 votes, all because you accidentally previewed it a few too many times. The bound-to-come readers are probably sleeping, or with their cat or something.
