Y/n walks in the daycare to make sure if any kids was hiding out since closing time was to come. No kids. She exhales and goes behind the counter to check in. She jumps seeing a tall yellow sun man standing in front of the counter "HELLOOOOO NEW FRIEND!" he yells smiling as he rasied his eyebrow "I never seen you before! Where's your friends? You know you shouldn't be around there!" He calls out as he walks behind the counter to her "o-oh! Sundrop! N-no I work here see" I desperately grab my id tag saying secretly on it as I show him. He stood Infront of me and looks at it "ohhhh..no new friend..well! Wanna play! Tag hid and seek maybe? I have glitter glue! You like glitter glue?! Googly eyes?.." he got closer as he bounces on his heels. I slightly giggle as I rub my neck "I suppose I can play for a minute"
After 30 minutes I'm freaking tired- all this running- he's very fast for some reason I'll never know- I giggle as I placed stickers on his face calmly"yea my favorite icecream is cookie dough but they don't have it here so I have to get it when I leave" the sun stares at me with his smile wide "I LIKE SHERBET SO COLORFUL" he waves his hand around then drops them dramatically. I giggle and nod "yes very colorful" I look at my watch and sigh "it seems like I have to check on Monty he's messing with the map guys again"
I stand only to get a pout "but whyyy" he bounces as he stands Infront of me hugging me "aren't we having fu-' the lights shut off. My eyes widen "oh no-" I turn looking at Sun. I read on the animatronic file darkness triggers moon man. Moon isn't very...bright as Sundrop. Sun starts screaming 'LIGHTS ON LIGHTS ON" I panic and back up as I look around "d-dont worry I'll cut it on!' I desperately look for the emergency generator. Sundrop screams. I turn looking for him only to see him gone.
"s-sun?" I grip my light looking around. I back up nervously only to bump into something. I blink as I close my eyes and turn "naughty kids deserve to be.." he stops as he realizes it's a guard. I blink as I stare at him. He stood up straight with his hands on his hip "who are you?" His raspy voice said as he floats in the air and what it seems like swimming around me. I mumble "I'm y/n the new security guard" I stare up at him. A moon. The moon- I shake my head as I stare up at him "did you trigger the lights?" He hisses "I don't trust you" "no no Wait I was just here playing with sun I wouldn't even do that I need light too" I stare at him
He growls and drops down as he stares at me "whatever. " He streaches and giggles then looks around picking up the toy cans next to me that I bumped into. I quietly stare at him he's so- skinny and scrawny. I snort causing him to snap his neck looking at me. I blink staring back "don't you got...stuff to do.." he growls out
I nod softly looking at the watch "oh well not anymore Vanessa handled it" I looked at the moon who was towering over me staring at the watch. I blink "excuse me- i-im gonna go turn on the lights" I start walking but he stops me "knock knock.." he smirks as he grabs me holding me tight "your a child I know it!" He laughs loudly as he takes off my hat and pulls at my hair. I whine trying to move him away "stop it now!" I yell at him "im not fucking playing!" He jumps back staring at me "such a rotten mouth you have kid" he stares glaring. I put my briads back into a ponytail as I grab my hat and put it on "listen I'm just doing my job!"
"now to somewhere else so I can finish my hour" I look away upset stomping past him going to the emergency generator. He stares at me as I walked off. I turn back on the generator as I sigh and walk back over to where the moon man was. Only to find sun upset "did you turn off the lights! I said no I said no!" I stare at him "you know I was with you when they went off."
He stood as he huffs and smiles at me "thank you friend!" He hugs me then pulls away and sits down the faces me with finger puppets "finger puppets?" I shake my head "I have to go now to check on everything else. I'll see you later Kay?" I smile gently as I walk to the exit.
He jumps and runs over "wait wait WAIT!". He yells as I turn looking up at him "Did you have fun?" He tilts his head I giggle and nod "yes. Have a good..day Sunny" I boop his nose as I leave the exit. He closes the door behind me and happily walks around in the daycare watching me leave.

Some days I catch moon creeping in the corners watching me while I eat in my office. I never see sun out the daycare but most of time if he is he's helping a lost child or some sort. I wave time to time but he does get upset if he waves and I don't wave back. He told me himself- which Ofcourse I had to apologize to the sweet angel. I honestly think I was the only one convinced that sun and moon where not the same person.
