A refrigerator. Something so plain and simple, yet, it's what steals her attention every time she breezes through the kitchen. It's funny how something she never truly paid any attention to before has now become so captivating to her, so precious to her heart really. A refrigerator.

She smirks to herself, sips her coffee and then reaches out to pull the card down from the magnet holding it into place. She studies the picture, her smile spreading even wider until she's chuckling to herself and cannot contain the giddiness sweeping through her body. She's content. She's complete. She's home.

She hears the clicking of heels against the polished floors, persuading her heart to do some happy jig in her chest. She briefly wonders if it will always feel this way, her heart tells her it's just the beginning.

"You're up early," she says, adjusting her earring as she struts into the room.

"Duty called," she answers, leaning in for the morning kiss she knows is coming.

"Maybe you should nap before we go," she suggests, her beautiful eyes narrowing on the card that once hung on their refrigerator.

"I'll be fine. I'm excited to see them."

"Me too, darling," she whispers as she leans in for one more kiss.

One year after the battle against Reign, Lena and Kara received a wedding invitation and of course, they wouldn't miss it for the world. It was the first time seeing each other again and Lena and Kara were both ecstatic about traveling to Storybrooke.

They planned a vacation for a week there, assuming they would have to stay at Granny's bed and breakfast but Regina and Emma insisted their mansion had plenty of space and so the four of them were granted an opportunity to really get to know one another. Regina helped Lena with magic while they bonded over controlling, mentally abusive mothers and evil siblings and always being looked at as the villain despite all heroic accomplishments. Kara spent a lot of time tagging behind Emma, helping her patrol and eventually, discussing what it's like to be an orphan from a strange land.

By the end of the week, Lena and Kara witnessed Regina and Emma saying their vows underneath an apple tree that apparently, Emma took a chainsaw to. The ceremony was intimate, close friends and family only, no bridal party. Emma's parents walked her through vibrant green grass to a man named, Archie Hopper and Henry walked Regina. It was absolutely beautiful and forced Kara to admit what she truly wanted.

One year after that, Regina and Emma received an invitation as well. Despite Kara's hesitation about being a superhero and risking Lena's life, she knew she couldn't continue living without love. She found someone who really knew her, all of her, that perfect person for game night. And Lena really was perfect, insisting that they practice all sorts of games together so that they would never lose.

So, Regina, Emma, and Henry traveled to Earth-38 thanks to Lena's portal watch and stayed in the most stunning farmhouse just outside of the city. Kara and Lena had the home built, well, with all the money rolling in from Catco and L-Corp, they wanted a forever home. It was gorgeous, a perfect mix between modern and country and apparently there was a forcefield surrounding to make it invisible so nobody could ever find Supergirl's family.

Emma and Regina were quite stunned when they had entered the grand venue for the wedding. Between Lena's popularity as CEO and Kara's many many super friends, their wedding was the event of the year. And Henry finally had the chance to meet all kinds of superheroes that he had been talking about since the day he met Supergirl. Kara's adoptive mother, Eliza, proudly walked her down the aisle to Lena who was waiting impatiently with tears rolling down her cheeks.
