It's been a while

You know that feeling when you wake up and you just feel like everything is okay for that little moment in time. Well, it was.

I was snuggled tightly in between the duvet and someone's much larger and stronger arms. I liked it. It somehow felt normal. Wait, what is normal? I don't have a clue. I closed my eyes as to continue to rest when those arms loosened around me and the bed shifted. Awoke was the sleeping bear and stood tall, in front of me was a shirtless Austin. I had completely forgotten about how attractive he really was. Tall, muscular, tattoos litering his body.

"Alan. 'Lan. Come on, wake up. I have to get you home." He ever so softly whispered as he leaned down to face me.

"No." I mumbled out and turned to face the wall to continue in my slumber.

Austin pulled the covers down off my pale legs and I begin to cry like a child who just had his gameboy taken away, or do you guys even know what a gameboy is anymore? You're probably too young, anyways.

Austin came and snuggled up against me and tried to keep me warm while seemingly trying to pry my eyes open for the day. Much to my dismay, I opened them and once more was not disappointed. I had a killer headache and felt naseaous, but that's my own fault, isn't it?

I reluctantly got out of bed and began my day, first with a shower and dressed in some of austin's old sweatpants and then a cup of black coffee and a bagel. I then proceeded to slip on my sand filled vans and take a stroll outside as Austin went to clean up to drive me home. I didn't feel like going home, but I didn't want to overstay my welcome.

I never did think about how I got to Austin's place. Matter of fact, I don't know where in the hell I am. I walked quickly back to Austin's apartment trying to remember how I got here, but all I remember is crying on the beach. I ran into the apartment only to be rudely awakened by Austin standing over the stove in a towel loosely around his waist and a toothbrush sticking wildely out the side of his mouth.

"Oh, uh, um, sorry?" I quickly muttered out to try and relieve the awkwardness that was upon us both.

"Alan! You're back! I didn't know where you had went." He yelled at me.

I flinched as he came over to give me a quick hug. He happened to brush against my side and I winced because of the pain. I had many secrets and some, I was willing to keep from everyone, including Austin. I was still sort of upset at Austin, I mean I left 3 years ago to get away from him and now I'm back, staying at his place the day after I unknowingly cried over him on the beach probably looking like a psychomaniac. I wasn't happy by far, but anymore, this may be the closest to normal that I'll ever get.

It's been hectic. I'm sorry it's been so long since I've updated. I'm almost done with my first year in college and I'm excited, yet fearful for what is going to happen in my future. I hope you liked the update a little. Like, follow, and comment! Bye!
