Back-to-gradeschool again

The next day, I remembered that it was the birthday of Sydney and we had a surprise for her after the exams. Our exams were only in the morning so meaning we had the whole afternoon to celebrate her birthday. After the exams, we didn’t greet her instead we went to her house. But when we got there she was already home and we laughed so hard and we just greeted her with the supposed surprise.

After that Sydney’s mom told her to treat us at Shakeys so from her house we went to the restaurant and ate lunch there. While we were eating, Joseph called me. I was smiling again and I showed my friends that he was calling. They told me to answer it and I did. He asked where I was and I told him that we were at Shakeys and we ate our lunch there. I asked where he was and he told me that he was at home. I felt down because I was going to visit his school.

I was going to visit because I was going to give something to a friend of mine, Louie. Louie was a friend of mine ever since I was second year. He wanted me to bring my school’s newspaper and magazine. After that conversation, I said goodbye to Joseph and I was sad. After we ate, Sydney wanted to spend the rest of the day with her family so she went home right away while I on the other hand went to my old school for Louie.

            When I got there, I went in the front gate and I went to Louie’s room looking for him. I first saw Jeremy and Darwin and I asked them where Louie was. They looked for him and they asked why I was looking for him and I said that I was supposed to give Louie the school papers. When Darwin was looking for Louie, Jeremy noticed my shirt and he said “Did you made this shirt just for him?” I said no and I remembered that it was my section when I was in second year. My section was “Joseph”. I didn’t know that until Jeremy noticed my shirt. I laughed and I wasn’t able to get over it.

        When Darwin saw Louie, I immediately gave Louie the papers and suddenly someone told me that Joseph has a crush on me. I don’t where it came from but I just ignored it. Then I told them that I was going to leave right now. Then out of nowhere from the back gate, I was shocked because Joseph just came to school. I asked them why he was just coming to school and they said that there classes were moved to the afternoon session because of the thesis defense. I was surprised and felt awkward because Joseph didn’t even said hi to me and completely ignored me. Louie approached me and offered me to go at the canteen and there we got to talk about Joseph. I was mad to the point that I wanted to go home but some of Joseph’s friends like Jeremy and Louie told me not to.

        They entertained me especially Jeremy. Jeremy was the one who asked me what to do to Joseph. I said to Jeremy that to let him be and I don’t want to disturb him. He asked that if he will let Joseph talk to me and I told him like I said I don’t want to disturb him. Then Louie kept me company and I gave him my bag and he put it in his room. I took my Mythology book and while Louie and I were talking I was still thinking about Joseph. When we settled at the bench near the court, Louie left because he was going to his adviser last year to celebrate her birthday. So Louie left me alone at the court and I was there reading my book with my comb and cellphone.

        After that, Jeremy approached me while Joseph was hiding behind him. Jeremy asked me how was I and said to him that I was okay. I said it to him sarcastically and I shouted it just to make Joseph guilty for ignoring me. After that, Joseph was calling my phone and I remember that he was just there behind Jeremy. So I dropped the phone and ignored it completely.

        Then after that I told Jeremy that I am going home but before that I went first to the comfort room to do my thing. After that I fixed my hair and I was going to get my bag at Louie’s classroom. When I went out of the comfort room, Joseph called me but I ignored it. I kept walking like there was no one there. When I was going downstairs, Joseph held my arm and made a puppy face and asked me if we can talk. At that time, I was playing hard to get because he ignored me earlier so we sat down at a table at the canteen and we talked.

        He was the first to ask about my book and I needed to review for a seatwork. Then he wanted to impress me so he told me that he knows all about the Norse Gods but he wasn’t able to remember some of the things. That made me laugh and I told him not to make things hard for him. After that we laughed and then he said “I still have it!” I didn’t know what he was talking about and he said that he still has the letter.

        My hard to get image was gone when he said that and I blushed like a tomato when he said that. I didn’t believe what he said and he proved it by letting Jeremy get his bag at the classroom. I said that Jeremy might be doing something and why he wasn’t the one to get his own bag. Then he said “That’s better rather than leaving you here!” That was the sweetest thing that a guy can say to me.

        We were left alone and he asked how I was. I said that I was from a birthday surprise and he laughed because he thought that we ate at Shakeys because we were celebrating our semestral break and I told him that we wouldn’t do that just for that reason. Then while we were talking I noticed that there were people who were playing volleyball behind us and the ball hit my head so hard that I felt a little dizzy. Joseph’s bag came and he told me that we should transfer to another table and I said okay.

        When I opened my eyes, I was looking for my things and I saw Joseph was the one who brought my things. I appreciated the effort of bringing my book, purple comb and pink cellphone. It was kind of cute to see him bringing all my stuff for me. When we got to the table, there were some of his friends one of them was Ray. Ray was a classmate of mine when I was in grade six and he had a crush on me until now. Joseph teased me to Ray and I didn’t like it so I walked out and Joseph wanted to stop me. I told him that I was just going to get my bag in their classroom.

        When I got in the classroom, I saw some of Joseph’s friends that I knew way back then. They were Dani and Richard. Dani was a classmate of mine when I was in grade five and six and Richard was a classmate of mine when I was in grade one. When I got my bag, I went back to our table and there were some of his friends.

        Joseph wanted to snoop around my phone and he didn’t know that I had a password. He asked for the password and I said no. He really wanted to know and he said that I will say my password in my mind and he will know it through my eyes. I was impressed with the fact that he wanted to know my password in the hard way but to have eye to eye contact with him. I felt like the luckiest person in the world to have eye to eye contact with my crush. But then his friend interrupted the scene and we lost contact and laughed.

        After that, his friends already left the two of us, Joseph and I, for us to talk and I felt that it was time to ask his reaction about the letter.
