As the sun was rising and reflecting the four corners of my room, I know that it was time to get up and start the day right. By the way, I am Jessie! I do the normal stuff like I go to the bathroom to do my thing; I get dressed up and put a little blush on my face. Yes! I am a girl! I know that my name associates a boy’s image but it was nice to know that some people find it unique for me as a girl. I am now 15 years old and I am a fourth year high school student.

As I start the last year of being a high school student, I really wanted to fully experience the life of being a senior. With the experiences that I have heard from higher batches, I was really excited to experience the surprises that will happen this school year. I didn’t know what to expect and what will I do when it comes to me. I hope that I can handle things carefully and with no regret. After all, it will be my last year of being a tween in the making. I need to start acting as a lady that knows how to behave and act like a woman in the future.

One day before the first day of classes, I was so hands-on with the things that I needed to bring for the first day which was a notebook and a ballpen for the introduction of subjects and teachers. But the thing that I was really aware of for the first day was if I was still a part of the pilot section of the fourth year level. The feeling of being nervous was not as I expected because my interpretation was that if I was still in the pilot section my senior year will be the best and if I was not part of the pilot section I don’t know what to do for the rest of the school year because I was used to be a part of the best of the best for almost two years and I don’t know if I will be able to adjust to the behavior of other sections. But I know that they are nice to be with and they are more fun to be with yet still I don’t know what goes around their surroundings and the way they know students from the pilot section. That’s why the night before the first day; I prayed to God that I will be a part of the pilot section.

At last the first day of classes came; I woke up early in the morning, did my thing in the bathroom, wore my uniform and ate my breakfast. After all of that was finished, the school service came and brought me straight to the school. It was still early that time and there were already a few people in the rooms of the fourth year level. As I took a glance of the first room and that was the room of the pilot section. I was nervous as I scanned through the class record and wonder if my name was there. As I checked the list, my name was there! I feel so relieved to see my full name in the list of the pilot section! Now I am happy that I am on track with the school year that I need for my future that I hope for.
