        Another day passed by and it was time again to wake up early to get to school on time. Every time I woke up and check my phone I don’t see any text messages early in the morning. But then this day was different it made me more motivated to get up and go to school. He sent me another text and he said “Good morning cute Jessie!” I really wanted to tell him good morning too but I don’t have enough load. But still every morning he would greet me with that message even without my reply. I really appreciated the effort of texting me every morning and with the word cute. I told these things to some of my friends. Some of my friends were Sydney, Abby and Angel. I told them on how we met and what we were talking about through text. They gave me advice about boys and love and told me to take things slowly. They said that to keep them updated about things. It was nice to know that they have concern about my love life.

        So much for that, I remembered that there was a school event this Friday. So I needed to stay after class and attend that event but what to do while waiting. Since it was a Friday, I can already subscribe to a promo of unlimited texts. So when I registered to the promo, I immediately sent a group message including him. Minutes later, he asked me how I was doing. I answered that I was okay and waiting for the event to start. We got to talk then suddenly he said “I already miss you, cute Jessie!” I was surprised with that text and told him that we just talked once and he already misses me. He said that we already talked many times. I answered him that we talked once personally meaning face to face and he agreed with that but still he insists that he misses me. I didn’t know what to say and I just went with the flow of happenings. Then he asked if when I will come back to his school. I told him that maybe if there will be a school event and I asked why he was asking. He said that nothing and it might be a long time to see me again.

        While we were texting, he asked for a favor and I asked what it was. He asked that if I can pray for his competition in Arnis tomorrow and of course I told him that I can pray for him and his competition. He thanked me and asked another question if I lived in West Gate Subdivision which was where I live. I asked him on how he knew about my subdivision and he replied that he was just assuring and he asked if what phase was I in. I asked if where he got his information and he said that it was a secret and asked again what phase was I in. Then I had a weird feeling and told him that I won’t tell him unless he tells me who told him about my home address. He replied that he already knows where my house was and I really got mad. I told him that I was irritated. He asked why and I told him that he didn’t tell me who told him about my home address then he answered that the one who told him was Jeremy. Jeremy was a neighbor of mine! That was weird but at least I knew who told him.

        I asked why was he asking about my home address and he said that he wanted to visit me. Visit me? Another first time that I have heard from a guy! He wants to visit me at my house! How sweet! This was giving me again the blushing face. But I told him that I don’t want him to visit me because of the cost of fares but still he wanted to. I don’t know what to do but still I kept on stopping him to visit me. But still he said that he will visit me some time. I was impressed but still he was going to spend so much just to see me.

        But the next question gave me the chills and really shocked me. He asked “Are you single?” I was shocked and approached my friends. They told me that to reply with the truth and the truth was that I am single. I said yes and I didn’t know what to expect next. Then I got a text from him saying “Good to know!” I was relieved with this text because I thought that he was going to ask the question. I knew that it was an awkward moment and I told him we were already going to the event and I had to hide my phone because it might be confiscated. He understood and said that to text him after the event. I still was not able to move on with the questions he asked me but it was like he really wants to know me better. Again, he was just a guy that I knew weeks before.

        The event was almost two hours and me and my friends had fun. After the event, I saw my school service and took the opportunity not to spend so much money for commuting. Then I wasn’t able to text him because I was so sleepy and I needed to sleep early because we had a Saturday class.
