Apology accepted

        Weeks after that he called me and it was Ray’s birthday that time. I was at my grandmother’s house. Joseph teased me to greet Ray for his birthday then he brought the topic of meeting up after class. I remembered that I told him that I am not free for that time and he persuaded that I said yes to him. I defended myself that I told him that I wasn’t available on that day then he told me that I let him expect to nothing. I was irritated and I ended the call.

        I was frustrated and then Joseph texted “Hi Jessie! Have you eaten already? Did you know that you have a look-a-like right here? She’s cute too.” I wasn’t in the mood for compliments so I replied “Yeah. I ate already. You?” then he didn’t reply. Hours later, I sent a group message telling everyone good night. Then he texted “Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy” and I replied “Oh whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy”. He asked “You are already going to sleep?” and I replied “Not really”. Then he asked “How are you?” and I replied “Here! I am still alive.” Then he said “Sorry for teasing you earlier.” And I replied “Hmmm. I don’t care.” He said “Awe!” and I replied “You were so annoying!” Then he called me and I answered it with no greeting. He said that he was sorry and I didn’t say anything. Then he added that he went to the bathroom just to call me then I asked “Is that all you want to say?” He said “Yes! I am really sorry!” I appreciated the effort and I said “Okay. Apology accepted!” Then he asked “Really?” and I said “You don’t want to?” I giggled and we were okay after that.

        Then through text he said that he really was sorry and he doesn’t stop from saying it. I told him that it was okay. Then he texted “Sorry! My Jessie! Sorry! Sorry!” and I replied “It was okay! My Joseph! Apology accepted!” Then he texted “So we’re okay?” and I replied “Sir, yes, sir with matching salute and smile.” I appreciated the effort of saying sorry so I had a little chat with him and he told me that he had three bottles of San Miguel Light meaning he was drunk. I told him to take it slowly and he said that he was just having fun with his family. It was a bit awkward but he was having fun so I let him do his thing.

        Then he asked if when we were going home and I said maybe later. He said “Text me when you are near the church!” and I asked “Why?” He said that he wants to see me and I said that I don’t want to disturb his family. He said “Just do it. Okay?” and I replied “Okay!” He asked “Are you persuaded? It was okay if you don’t want to” and I replied “No. It was okay. You don’t want me to do it?” He said “No. It was just that I am a little bit lazy here” and I replied “Get some rest!” Then after that we were on our way home and he was still texting me. I ignored it because I don’t want to see him drunk in front of the church.

        Then in the morning, I texted him with saying sorry many times but I did that on purpose just to say that I slept while he was texting me. Then days after he texted me and I said sorry to him. He said that it was okay and I said I was really sorry. I was a bit guilty when I was saying sorry because I really did that on purpose.
