Chapter 12 : At home

Opening night was done, everybody was ecstatic for the successful show but one person was more excited than everybody, and that was Ej. He was excited not because the show was successful, though yes, he is too but he was more happy 'cause the minute the show was over, he bid goodbye to everybody, hopped on his car and went straight to the airport. He figured that he'll just buy a ticket and go on from there.
He was just so excited to see and visit Gina.

After a few hours, his plane landed in Atlanta and sent Gina a text that he's arrived.

Text message :
"Hey Gi, I've just arrived. I'm on my way to your apartment.😊
I can't wait to see you!"

"Hi Eej! Okay, sure. Me and my mom are at home. Yeah, me too.😊"

Before heading over to their apartment, I stopped by a local flower shop and bought some tulip. Also, instead of chocolates, I got her favorite granola bar since chocolates gives her heartburn. I am so excited to see her, for the first time, I was literally head over heels for her. I can't wait to see her beautiful smile, her eyes that squints whenever she's laughing. I missed her a lot.

I stood by the door, rang the doorbell and waited anxiously for her.
Once the door opened, it seemed like I saw a ray of sunshine, her smile was all I needed to lift the tiredness that I was feeling after the opening night and flight here.
Fkowers and granola bar at hand, my backpack and all the love I have is what I brought her.

"Hey Gi!" I smiled at her and I can feel that I was blushing so hard upon seeing her that I suddenly feel a little shy. I was pretty nervous, I wasn't this nervous in front of a girl before. Gina really is different.
"Oh, I bought you some flowers, and a granola bar since I know you're not fond of chocolates."

"Aaaww..that's so sweet. Thank you, Eej" and she gave me a hug.
"Come on in, I just made some snacks, my mom is out 'cause she got a call earlier and had to head out and won't be here until Monday night. So how was your flight? How's everybody doing?" Gina asked.

"The opening night went really well, though it is not the same without you, of course. Flight was okay too, had to immediately run from East High to the airport." I said with a chuckle at that last part.

"I'm sad that I wasn't at the show, but my mom really needed the help in here. I practically begged her if I could stay for the opening night but, yeah." Gina was a getting a little sad. I went up to her and gave her a hug and kissed her forehead.

"Hey, you know we're not yet official but you're putting a lot of kisses already huh." Gina said jokingly.

"I know, I just want you to feel that I am always here to take care of you and I always want you to feel better. And you'll get a lot more than that once we're official." I said confidently.

"You're pretty confident." Gina said.

"Well, I am Gaston." I said while flexing my biceps.

Gina was laughing after that and hit me on my arm, directing me to the kitchen to get some snacks.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Gina asked. "Yeah, sure I wouldn't pass up on a good movie." I said

Gina and I sat beside each other, and I felt her snuggle up beside me. I put my arm up so she could snuggle up closer and man she smelled so good. Halfway into the movie, I feel like I was dozing off and took a glance at Gina intently watching, and all I could think of was how beautiful she is. I didn't realize that I was staring at her for quite a while and didn't notice that she was staring back. I quickly broke away and was blushing really hard.
"I'm sorry...I didn't know I was staring that long...." She puts her hand up to my chin and made me look at her. I got so lost in her beautiful brown eyes and before I knew it, she was coming up at me and gave me the most gentle kiss.

"I'm sleepy, take me to my room?" Gina said and I literally had to swallow at that. She was just wearing an orange tank top, shorts and a robe.

"I already told my mom that you'll be staying here for the weekend, and I already prepared the guest room for you."  Gina said while I walked her to her room.

"Wow, thank you. Really, I appreciate it." I said to her. We stood in front of her bedroom door.

"Good night, Ej." Gina said sweetly
"Good night, Gina." I said, kissing her forehead. "Thank you."

I then went to my room and put down my stuff which is literally just a backpack with some clothes. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Once I got done, I went down to the kitchen to grab some water, I was just in a towel when I accidentally bumped into Gina who was also in the kitchen at the time.

"Ow!!" Gina exclaimed

"Oh h-hey..I'm sorry, I was just gonna go grab some water before heading up to the room."

"It's alright." She said smiling, while holding on to Ej's chest and him holding onto her so she wouldn't fall back.

The both of them noticed what it was and immediately broke each other's gaze and turned her back on him. Both were blushing so hard and Ej finds himself hot on the cheeks,.

"U-uhm...I'm gonna head up. Have a good night, Ej." Gina said, while still not looking at him

She headed straight up her room and closed the door behind her letting out a sigh of relief, she had flushed red in the face and her heart was beating fast.

"Oh wow. That was...hmmm...get a hold of yourself Gina." She said to herself.

She went across the room put down the water bottle in her hand and slumped down on her bed.

Ej on the other hand, got a bottle of water from the fridge and drank it in one go. He was flustered, felt hot and sighed deeply.

Both of them couldn't sleep all through the night. Ej went and looked out his room window and was just gazing at the moon, when all of a sudden he heard a loud thud from Gina's room.
