~Ze's POV~
One down from Purple. Two down from Green. Zero from Blue. One from Red. Three from Orange. Zero from white.
I have to say this is more intense to watch than the hunger games. Glancing at the screen I watch as someone wearing a white sash gasps as the green paint stains their chest nearly knocking them backwards into the ground. Glancing back down to the tablet I make the announcement the first white is now out. There are two others behind me watching as well who have already "died" and now want to watch how their team is doing. Not only that but this is entertaining shit. The fact that we know everyone in their too is adding to the entertainment. It really is like the ultimate showdown between all of our soldiers.
"I can't believe the researcher is still in, no offense," one of the guys behind me notes and I just stay silent. Of course I'm offended mainly because Chilled is a much better soldier than some here on base. If it were me out there though, I'd probably die fairly quickly. Maybe next year. Switching one of the screens when I notice two opposite colors are coming close, the screen flickers to the empty forest and I watch for the moment they notice each other. Instead they didn't notice each other at all and walked right past each other.
The two guys behind me groan in annoyance at the oblivious soldiers. Staying silent I glance back down towards the trackers and notice one guy is getting awfully close to the borders. I quickly send him a warning and immediately the tracker shows him walking in the opposite direction. This job is a lot more work than I first thought it would be. Night is coming up and the other two are sleeping in the lab irritating me quite a bit. It's not like I don't have anything in the lab that will mess their day up and days to come. I decide against it as I glance back towards the tablet and notice most of the trackers have stopped moving, probably all sleeping by now. That is when I notice a single red tracker moving and curious I click on it, unsurprisingly finding Chilled still wandering around, likely out to get some kills on unsuspecting victims. Its not against the rules, if anything Diction encouraged it but having everyone hunt from the morning usually makes everyone tired by this time. If I hadn't had several cups full with caffeine I would be passed out on the desk right now.
Chilled's stamina never fails to impress me, always seeming to gather the energy from his motivation. Slowly I feel myself sliding towards the desk and close my eyes, finally exhausted. Luckily it doesn't take long for me to wake up when my tablet vibrates at another death being made and reported by the dead person. Glancing down I sigh and report it to everyone before yawning loudly and leaning back in the chair. The screens are all still, the morning still having hardly anybody awoken besides the guys who are used to waking up early. Specifically two soldiers from the blue team, our two most highest ranked up and running already. Chilled is passed out by now of course, having a usual schedule of waking up late, not as late as me but still really late. I yawn again and rise from my seat to begin making a pot of coffee when I notice the other two still sleeping. A bit annoyed I consider dumping a bunch of chemicals on their heads but somehow my sleepy head decides against it with much resistance.
When they do wake up my glare is strong enough to make them quickly flee before I decide to pour the chemicals and I'm left to my lonesome. Glancing at the screen I immediately spot Gassy, sitting at the bottom of a tree and seeming to be taking inventory, a couple of lighters in front of him along with the gun he managed to find, loaded with the paint pellets. Although the paint bullets are given to each team based on color, the guns have to be found all around the hunting ground. Gassy was lucky enough to grab a nice looking one. Of course Chilled was lucky like he always is, but others have mere small little cheap paint guns that look like you can buy them from the dollar store. Gassy's eyes suddenly look up and directly towards the camera causing me to gasp and look away. When I realise I did I immediately look back to see him looking back at his things again. Why am I so affected by his gaze anyways?
