~Ze's POV~

"So you're saying you think shit might go down during Sudden Death?" I ask slowly, almost hoping if I ask slower he won't understand and ask again so I could think clearly about what I'm saying. Diction takes a deep breath in front of me and folds his hands before his mouth, watching me carefully and seemingly thinking about his every word he's willing to offer me. Before coming here he made sure I understood absolutely no one else should hear what will be said in this office right now. Even Gassy isn't allowed to hear what is said in this room currently, and that's what really shocks me. I've always thought of Gassy and Diction as the two leaders of base, not one over the other like it is in reality. The fact this is supposedly very private only makes me more nervous and cautious to listen to what he has to say.

"Yes, there has been proof something may go down and something may be sneaking in onto base that day. So because of this, the moment you hear something, the moment something seems really off you have to notify me no matter what, got it? Only me, don't go crying to any of the other officials," Diction orders, leaving out an awful lot of information that could be useful. Instead of complaining like I really feel like because it really is stupid he isn't giving me any information, I just sign and not slowly, taking the walky talky Diction holds in front of him. There is definitely something extremely off about this entire base and it's more than the fact that Gassy and Nanners are up to no good. I'm still contemplating telling about them but I feel as if I'd be the one to be losing my life if I tell.

"And dont, no matter what, talk to anybody else." I nod again, looking to him and wondering if he's thinking there may be a traitor on base, which would make him right but I wonder how he can tell. As far as I can tell if it hadn't been for Alice and me snooping around, Nanners and Gassy both seem pretty damn innocent right now. Diction looks at me seeking almost doubtful in his trust he's laying on me right now and I admit, it is a strangely large amount of trust for someone who just joined. There is an extent to new guys that they are some of the most trustworthy people because they want good appearances in front of the higher ups. Considering Diction already knows Chilled's type, it is fairly easy to guess that the both of us have been struggling to keep one single job for more than a year. Although we're considered some of the best at our job, we either get bored or Chilled gets into some sort of trouble. Both of us have taken a liking to this base, especially Chilled but I have too. Although it feels a bit pressuring to know a secret like Gassy has, I've still enjoyed my time here.

"I got it," I ensure him making him start at me for an extra moment longer as if truly second guessing himself in trusting me. Still, in the end, he nods and walks with me out of the room and outside where everyone is standing around waiting for the moment the event begins. Searching the crowd I find Chilled talking with the other members of his group seeking to be taking this way too serious. I pull at his arm and he turns back towards me and immediately nods when he sees my expression and follows me away from the crowd.

"I figured out a way to do what you wanted to," I explain and motion for him to give me the materials. We both glance back at the group but Gassy and Diction seem preoccupied so Chilled quickly brings me over to a table and lays out the small paint balls, his lighter, and a small rock. Everything that will be able to be used. Quickly but a bit hesitantly I begin configuring the small paint balls and begin connecting everything together in such a way.

"Are you sure this is allowed?" I asked as I dig my thumb into my invention before rolling the small red ball towards him and he looks and observed the entire ball.

"It's made of legal things I font see why not. How does it work?" I look at him a bit worried, seriously concerned he'll be kicked out because of this. Leaning away from the table I punch in a hole in the small ball and throw it out into the isolated woods, immediately exploding out causing the red paint to spiral in all directions. Chilled and I watch as the red paint coats the trees and ground around the landing position, seeming the only area which is unaffected. Slowly we back away from the spot and turn back as if to see if anybody happened to be watching us and our plan. We silently walk away from the location back towards the crowd and Gassy glances back at me, seeking to be the only one who noticed our sudden leave. We meet eyes but I quickly look away feeling a little dirty for doing this, giving such a weapon when I doubt any of the other people have even close to the "deadly" weapon.
