The family kept walking down the sidewalk.

At one point, Gabi and Rosa needed to go inside a store that didn't allow pets.

But Vivo was ok with waiting outside.

And Gabi and Rosa trusted Vivo not to wander away.

So with that, they left him outside.

But not before telling Vivo that he was free to walk down the sidewalk some more, so long as he was back in about 30 minutes.

Once the two went in the store, Vivo kept walking down the sidewalk.

While he was walking, Vivo kept thinking about the two pets he met.

Charlotte and Tiago.

They seemed really nice, but...a little ambitious.

They quickly called him a friend, even though they just met.

Vivo wasn't sure what to think of all this.

Hopefully, the next pet he meets won't be too-

"Heads up!"

Vivo turned around quickly.

Someone was about to-

*Crash*

Somebody crashed into Vivo on a skateboard.

It was a fennec fox.

She was a sandy color with a white underbelly.

And her head was centered with a cool tuft of bangs marked with two highlights of black and dark hot pink.

She said as she got up, "Ok...definitely can't skateboard through town with my eyes closed."

She then turned to look at Vivo.

Vivo just glared...while sitting in a mud puddle.

She just chuckled nervously, "Um...excuse me?"

She then helped him up, "Sorry about that."

Vivo slightly groaned, but said, "That's ok."

She looked around, "Uh...uh..."

She then noticed a garden hose on the side of a flower shop.

She quickly pulled Vivo over to it.

"Here. Let me help you."

She grabbed the hose's spray nozzle and turned the faucet.

She then pointed it at Vivo.

Vivo knew this wouldn't end well.

He tried to stop her.

"Wait-"

*Splash*

Too late.

Vivo was getting heavily sprayed with water.

The fennec fox had it on for a few seconds before turning it off.

She saw that the kinkajou was now soaking wet.

"Whoops...I guess I used a little too much."

Vivo sarcastically asked, "No...really?"

The fox looked around again.

She then noticed a leaf-blower.

Vivo saw it as well and knew what she was planning.

He tried to run away, but she already grabbed his paw.

She then pointed the leaf-blower at him.

Vivo squinted his eyes, "Oh, no."

She then turned it on.

But it was really strong.

Strong enough to push Vivo back!

She quickly turned it off...and saw Vivo back in the same mud puddle.

Vivo said, "You know what? I think I'd rather wait until my owners get back and take me home."

The fox responded, "Uh, yeah."

Vivo got out himself.

The fennec fox then tried to hide her laughter.

Vivo just continued glaring.

She hid it all in a cough.

Then said, "So, uh, anywho, the name's Roxie."

Vivo responded, "Vivo."

Roxie then said, "Sorry about crashing into ya. Was trying to push my awesomeness a bit further."

Vivo just shifted his eyes, "Uh...I'm sorry, what?"

Roxie raised her eyebrow, "What, are you new here?"

"Actually, yes, I am. I moved in about two weeks ago."

Roxie explained, "Thought so. See, I'm all about being awesome. Living on the edge, taking risks, doing crazy stunts. You know, anything to feel the rush!"

Vivo responded, "Uh, sounds...interesting?"

Roxie playfully scoffed, "Interesting? You can ask any pet in Key West. I'm the best when it comes to extreme."

She then grabbed her skateboard.

"For example..."

She then proceeded doing a bunch of amazing skateboard tricks.

From different flips to grind and slides to grab and air tricks.

She then stopped right in front of Vivo.

"See? What'd I tell ya? Awesome. And those weren't even my best moves."

Vivo just had his jaw down in awe.

Roxie just chuckled, "I like you, Vivo. I can't wait to hang out some more."

Vivo stopped at that, "Hang out some more? What do you mean-"

"Roxie!"

Roxie's owner was calling her from an extreme sport equipment store.

Roxie said, "Whoops. Gotta dash. Catch ya later, Vivo."

She then skateboarded away.

Vivo just stood there blankly for a minute.

Then just walked back towards the store where he was supposed to meet Gabi and Rosa.

When he got there, Gabi and Rosa walked out.

Gabi said, "Hey, Vivo, we just have mom's hair appointment, then we can-"

She immediately stopped when she saw Vivo in filthy mud.

Vivo smiled sheepishly.

Gabi said, "Whoa. You know, Vivo, this isn't what they mean by a messy hairstyle."

Vivo just looked at her.

Rosa then said, "Don't worry. Once we're done with my hair appointment, we'll be home and it'll be bathtime."

Vivo said, "As long as it doesn't involve a garden hose or leaf-blower, I think that's a great idea."
