Y/N's POV

"Y/N, could you hurry up please! We want to finished unpacking before meeting the Madrigals," My oldest brother, Luis, says to me as I'm sat on my floor doing the opposite of what he asked. We only arrived in the town Encanto like 2 hours ago after our parents thought it would be a good idea to send my 4 siblings and I to live here while they go on their year long business trips. (Idk if this is a thing but it is now so...) Our parents thought we would be safer in a small town than in a big city, along with the fact that the Madrigals each have a gift to everybody.

The reason we are meeting the Madrigals so soon is because our Abuela was friends with their Abuela before she passed, and she wants us to meet them and be able to feel comfortable enough to ask them for help when needed.

I finally decide to start putting my dresses in my wardrobe and putting everything I need on my desk. Once I'm finished, I skid over to my Amira's room, (my 5 year old sister) to see Luis our oldest brother, who is 20, helping put toys away and build in shelves. I already know that my other two older brothers (Andres and Marco, 17 year old twins) were finished with unboxing their boxes had already starting playing video games downstairs and shouting at each other.

As I walked by them both in the living, trying to tune them out, I had noticed that Luis hadn't been able to unpack anything in the kitchen and decided to help him out a bit by putting glasses and bowls away.

However my plan backfired when I had dropped one of the glasses on the counter and scratched myself deep enough to cause blood on one of the shards. Andres and Marco came rushing in at the sound of breaking glass and Andres took my hand and ran it under some water to get rid of the blood. Marco helped clean the glass from the counter and the odd shards that landed on the floor before turning to me and Andres.

"I swear there's like a Madrigal person that can like feed ya and you will get better," he stated before starting to wander back into the living room.

"Oh cool, do you know who?" I asked, my hand out while Andres put a plaster on the cut.

"If I had know who, I wouldn't have said a Madrigal person, would I, dumb ass?" said Marco and with that me and Andres went back into the living room and I slapped him across the back of the head and sticking my tongue out at him. He stuck his out back at me before going back to his video games.

I trailed back upstairs and starting cleaning myself up a little bit so I looked presentable for meeting the Madrigals and I believe having dinner with them also. I stuck a little pearl pin in my hair just so I don't end up eating my hair while having food.

Just as I finish getting ready, I hear Amira giggling and peek my head out me door to see Luis lifting her around like an aeroplane. I follow behind them and get my shoes on and step outside the house waiting for everybody else. Amira comes jumping out and grabs my hand, swinging it about and rambling on about her teddy's drama.

It was currently 3:40 and we had to meet the Madrigals outside their Casita at 4pm so we had enough time to take in the scenery as the Casita wasn't to far away from our new house. There were stalls and markets set up everywhere, and little children running through the bustle of people doing their daily shop. Amira had seen a stall that she liked and asked if we could have a look at it, which agreed to do.

As my brothers and Amira look at the stall, I turn around to see a teenager with curly brown hair and a sunny yellow poncho about the same age as me being chased by around 10 screaming kids. I smiled at them thinking how cute it was before being shocked by him turning into a random lady and blending in with the crowd, confusing the kids that were chasing him. The teen noticed me looking at him before smiling and turning back into his regular self again before I was dragged away as Luis stated he did not want to be late.
