Chapter 11

Y/N's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and looked over to see it was 9pm. Clashing of plates and glasses could be heard from downstairs and I realised that breakfast would be ready in a few minutes. I lifted up the duvet and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. Andres appeared behind me in the mirror and smacked the back of my head causing me to choke on my toothbrush, before walking downstairs. I just stared at the mirror for a second and just questioned why he was my brother.

After finishing my business, I stumbled down the stairs, almost missing the bottom step, and headed to the dining table. Marco was making eggs for everybody and I picked up my omelette from the kitchen counter as it's my usual. Amira had her sunny side up, Luis with a hard boiled egg, and both the twins had scrambled eggs. We all ate in a comfortable silence before Luis broke it with his morning announcements of the day.

"Right so today is Isabela's birthday party and the whole town is invited so please try and make some friends since we are still new here. Make sure you guys are all dressed nicely, we will be heading over at 5pm so we will be there around 15 minutes after it starts." Luis stated, "Any objections?"

"Camilo said he's going to pick me up at 6pm so I'll just stay here when you guys leave," I mumbled while stuffing an omelette in my mouth. I rush of oooooohhhhs came from the twins and I glared at them for teasing me then gulped down my water.

"He has a crush on you," Marco flat out said, and I choked on my water coughing everywhere.

"Dickhead," I muttered, once I had finished my coughing fit.

"Bitch," Marco muttered back. Me and Marco were suddenly smacked at the back of our heads by Luis who had a scowl on his face.

"Don't swear! We have kids at the table," he said, staring at us with a stern look, before shaking his head and went back to his announcement.

"That's fine if you stay here a bit longer, just make sure you lock up okay. Don't forget the necklace for Isabela and wrap it up nicely please, I'll go look for some wrapping paper later," Luis said as he finished his egg and began washing up the dishes. I nodded and then Amira started rambling about her weird dream she had last night. It was something to do with talking trees, I don't know I wasn't really listening.

"Y/N, can you please help us with what to wear tonight?" Andres asked, pointing at himself and Marco. I rolled my eyes and nodded at them, wondering how they got so far in life yet still don't know how to dress themselves properly.

"Marco wants to impress his boyfriend," Andres teased and Marco's cheeks flushed. I giggled and we ran up into their 'man cave' to check out what was in their wardrobe. I pulled out 2 matching trousers which has white thread running along the seams and then tried to look for something to match. I pulled out a royal blue shirt for Andres so that he could tuck it into his trousers. Then I pulled out a white top and a red ruana for Marco to wear. I handed them the clothes and they smiled before placing it on their separate beds, saving them to wear later on.

I left to go back to my room and wasted time by reading my book, I was almost at the end so I knew I would have to buy a new one soon. I grew bored after an hour and went to go check on Amira, she was playing with her dollhouse and I joined in to fuel my boredom. Time flew by and next thing we knew, we had to start getting ready.

I walked over to Amira's chest of drawers and pick her out a pink dress, with ruffles on the sleeves and at the bottom. I pulled out a white cardigan so she wouldn't feel cold and gave her one of me silver necklaces to finish the look. She giggled and did a little twirl while looking in the mirror and I smiled at how adorable she could be sometimes.
