Black and white and shades of grey,
I used to see the world that way,
Unaware of blue and green,
And all the shades I hadn't seen.I thought my path through life was plain,
That on this track I would remain,
Content and blithely unaware,
My twin flame walked the world somewhere. So, on the day that I met you,
I almost missed the yellow hue,
Of the tiny golden spark,
That briefly flashed and pierced the dark. Then gradually, more shades appeared,
Magnificent, defined and clear,
Emotions so intense unfurled,
As colours bled into my world.Prolific hues, unique and fresh,
Softly landed on my flesh,
The colours sank right through my skin,
Dyed the essence deep within.Penetrated every pore,
Embellished my internal core,
Created perfect works of art,
Left tattoos upon my heart. Now I've found you, I have no doubt,
Born to seek each other out,
We're two halves of one split soul,
Like magnets, drawn, to make us whole.A cosmic key binds us together,
And now we're interlocked forever,
I know this isn't simply love,
Our energy transcends above.Exposed to radiance so bright,
I can't return to black and white,
My world will never be the same,
Now I've encountered my twin flame.
