Chapter Twelve || HOME

Yeji was resting in her room because she can't go everywhere, not just because of her injury but also because of her mom.

Remembering what her mom told her yesterday after they go home.

"You need to take rest, if you want to perform. In short don't leave your room."

She groan and get her phone to see if someone text, call or chat her. More like waiting for him. But to her dismay she didn't get one.

"Why am I even waiting for him to ask me today if I'm ok?" She told herself before looking at the Fox plushie beside her.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" She ask the plushie as if it will answer her.

"Tsk. Bored is making me crazy." She plop herself back to her bed and groan.

"More like waiting for his call making you crazy." The sudden voice make her surprised, resulting of her fall from bed.

"Ahhh!"

"Oh my unnie, you alright? Sorry, didn't mean to startle you." The girl go to her and help her to go back to bed.

"No, it's ok Yuna. What are you doing here? And are you alone?" She ask the youngest looking if the others is with her.

"I arrive early, the other unnie will arrive later they said they will buy something." Yuna said, sitting down beside her.

"So why are you talking to this fox plushie, unnie? I know your not a psycho but..."

"I was thinking of what happened yesterday." Yeji said before laying back to her bed with the youngest watching her.

"Which one do you mean happened, unnie? The one with the psycho Yena or the one with Yeonjun oppa? Or maybe at the cafeteria?" Yuna ask even she know what the older is talking about. Even herself was curious about what the two talk about yesterday.

"I... Y-you know what, let's stop talking about that. I heard you and Kai got along each other." Yeji smirk when she saw how the younger blush.

"I-its not l-like that, unnie. I-its just w-we were a-assigned to do a p-project." Her smirk just got wider because of how the girl stutter.

"Then why are you stuttering?" She ask, knowing that something happened between the two.

"Unnie!" The girl shouted making her laugh.

"What are we missing?" They hear the voice of another friends.

"Guys Yuna and Kai is-"

"Unnie!" Yuna cut the older by shouting again, she's beginning to embarrass.

"So are you now okay, unnie?" Chaeryeong ask her. Looking at her injury.

"I'm fine. Besides mom wouldn't let me go outside the room so I can take a rest!" Yeji shouted making sure her mother hear her.

The girls only laugh at the older silliness.

"Ohh unnie, Guess who I bump into someone earlier." Ryujin said making the 4 confused.

"Huh? Who is it?" She was curious at what Ryujin said.

"Remember Ryle? The half American that have a crush on you in elementary?" She nodded remembering the boy who always follows her everywhere. The name itself make her chuckle.

"Yeah, why?" She ask chuckling a little.

"You wouldn't believe it unnie. I met him earlier and he got more handsome." The Shin Ryujin, that they know who doesn't simp over a man, squealed.

"Really?" The other girls seems to be surprised also.

They know the guy, they met him multiple times, he looks like a nerd before but still he look handsome, but hearing a mature Ryle become more handsome is more surprising. Plus seeing Ryujin's reaction is making it more exciting.

"What did he said?" Lia ask shaking Ryujin, who still can't get over.

"He knows me, he even called my name!" Yeji hang her jaw when Ryujin squeal again. Ryujin plus squealing in one sentence is rare.

"What else unnie." Chaeryeong also joined them squealing.

"He. he ask about Yeji unnie!" The 4 squeal again making Yeji look at them unbelievably.

'Are they forming a squealing squad?'

"Ahhh, we all know that he's into unnie since then. Plus he said he can't wait to see you soon unnie!" She watch the 4 on how they react.

"Hear that unnie, maybe he's the one for you and not oppa." Yuna said making her remember him again.

She got her phone to see if there is any text or calls but to her dismay, still nothing.

The girls stop squealing and look at the older who sigh.

"We all know that Yeji unnie is loyal to Yeonjun oppa, Yuna." Chaeryeong said making them look at her in disbelief.

"What? Just stating the facts here." She said before sitting properly on the bed.

"Yeji unnie is head over heels on Yeonjun oppa before, like Ryle to unnie. But instead of following him around, she stay by his side everytime he needs her. She didn't show her feelings, in short she wanted to stay by his side. But that's not how it ends, someone is meddling your little love story." Yeji chuckle at what Chaeryeong said.

She's right though, Yeji doesn't tell him that she like him. Because she doesn't want him to feel awkward between them, specially when she knows that she is his safe and home.

He found peace everytime he's with her, and she also found peace in him. But thinking that her confession will destroy it will make it harder for her to approach her home. Cause they were each other's home.
