Chapter Twenty || GOT HIM BACK

Dark night, cold breeze and the silent neighborhood.

The both of them are now at the terrace of her house. And no one is speaking. It's always like this, they were feeling the quiet atmosphere first, before they talk to each other.

But now, Yeji found herself hard to speak to him because of the situation earlier. She didn't know what to say, she also didn't know what did the two really talk about. But one thing is for sure, she's involved in it.

"So..." She break the silence between them. And didn't bother to look at him. "What did you and dad talk about?" She ask him again but the boy didn't answer. She was running out of patience but she just can't, it's him.

"Are you gonna talk or what?" She ask but now she look at the boy who's peacefully looking at the sky. She saw how handsome is his side profile is.

'This is the reason why I feel in love with him. He's too perfect to be true.' She slightly smiled before looking at the night sky also.

Silence engulfed them again and she only close her eyes to feel the silence. And this time she was feeling it, she was at her peace again.

Yeonjun look at her, he smiled when he saw how she was comfortable with the silence. 'This is where I belong. With her.' He look at her healing ankle, and maybe she can dance in two days because of the fast healing. 'I am so proud of her, she manage to endure those things that Yena did to her.'

"Why you didn't told me?" He suddenly said making the girl open her eyes and look at him confused.

"About what?" She ask him, she was clueless at the sudden topic.

"That you were having a hard time with my ex-girlfriend." He didn't want to directly tell her, he want her to understand it by herself.

"I don't know what your talking about." Yeji was getting nervous at what he's talking about. 'Did he already know?'

"Yeji, I'm just waiting for you to tell me the whole story. Why didn't you tell me that you and Yena has big misunderstanding." He said making her widen her eyes.

"You a-already know?" She hesitate to ask him but still manage to do it.

"Remember what they told you at the clinic. The one who found you unconscious at the hallway?" He ask her, she's still confused but answered anyway.

"Y-yeah, they said y-you found me before they can." She was getting nervous at where the conversation will go. But she wanted to fix what's the problem between them.

"I didn't found you unconscious." He started, he was waiting for her reaction. Staring at her intently. "I was there since Yena started pushing you." Yeji widen her eyes at what he just said. He was satisfied at what her reaction is, and by that he really know what his decision is.

'And he didn't bother to tell me?'  Her reaction was priceless, she can't believe it, but she didn't know how to react. But she was sure that the sudden admittance was so shocking.

"Is it true that Yena was the one who's behind of your back injury 5 years ago?" Yeonjun take the opportunity to ask her again while she was still shock. "And please dont lie, i've already heard a lot of it." He said sounding disappointed. Well, he is but he knows that she just did it for him.

"I-i, I'm so sorry, Yeonjun." Yeji lower her head and tears threatening to fall. "I'm so sorry, it's not my intention t-" She's been cut when she felt warm. She cried when Yeonjun hugged her.
