Chapter Nineteen || SERIOUS

"I'm really sure that you can be a kidnapper. You already kidnapped me twice this day." Yeji whined at the passenger seat of Yeonjun's car. She look outside where she can see the orange sky and a beautiful view of a field.

She was in awe by the peaceful surroundings. And she didn't notice that the car already stopped.

Yeonjun was about to talk to her when he saw her having her own peace time. He smiled before getting his phone and took a photo of her. 'She's really pretty.'

Yeonjun decided to tap her to snap out of her trance. And she did, but once she did. She started to nag at him.

"Yah, why did you bring me here?"

"Do you know that I can accused you by kidnapping."

"Plus why don't you go to your special someon—"

She only stopped talking when Yeonjun lean near her face making her widen her eyes at the sudden bold move of the boy. Yeonjun smirk when he saw how flustered the girl were.

"W-what do y-you think you're d-doing?" She stutters while asking him.

"What do you think?" Yeonjun can't stop to bit his lip, looking at the girl. Yeji noticed that and she looked away, with a red hue on her face.

Yeonjun chuckled at her before going back to his seat that make the girl sigh in relief.

"Are you jealous?" His question make the turn to her very defensive side.

"No, I'm not. And why would I be jealous. You can date anyone you want. Plus who am I to stop you from dating. You can date anyone you want and I'm not complaining." She said in one go of breath. She take a deep breath before talking again, but stopped by his chuckle.

"Why are you so defensive, Ji. I'm just asking you." He look at the girl with his teasing smile that Yeji found annoying. "And you said I can date anyone I want, right?"

Yeji bit her lip in nervous, she didn't mean what she said. Of course she doesn't, she like him and heck, she will just said that he can date anyone he wants, and give him away that easily? Of course not. She was hesitant to talk and decided to keep quiet.

"Then you wouldn't mind if I date you, right Lucy?" She jolted up on her seat when she hear what he said, making her head bump into the car roof. She look at the guy dumbfounded, she might think that he was just joking, but he did use her English name, which only means he's serious.

"W-what did y-you say?" She ask him again that make the guy chuckle but then turn into his serious self.

'How can this guy so bipolar?'

"I'm serious Yeji. I want to date you." He said looking at her eyes without blinking but she look away with a red as tomato face.

"Y-you d-don't know w-what your s-saying, Yeonjun. W-we should g-go home. It's almost night already." She was more getting nervous about what he was saying, and she doesn't have any clue why would he say that.

Yeonjun only sigh and drive to bring her home, but he have something in his mind.

Once they arrive at Yeji's house, she immediately go out the car and bid a goodbye to him not bothering to wait him to go away. She entered their house and saw her dad walking out from the kitchen.

"Oh, Yeji your home." Her dad greet her. She gave him a peck on his cheeks before excusing herself to go to her room.

When she entered her room, instead of changing her clothes she jump on her bed and squeal, like what a in-love teen age girl would do when they found out that the guy she likes, likes her back. And Yeji is not different, she's happy about it but afraid at the same time that maybe Yeonjun is just confused about his feelings.

She was daydreaming in her room not when she heard a knock on her door. She look at the direction and saw her brother leaning on the door frame, smiling like an idiot.

"What are you smiling at?" She ask him, but the guy only shook his head then chuckle. "Yah, what are you laughing at? Is there anything funny?" She shouted at him this time.

"You know you should low down your voice or you'll embarrass yourself to your boy." Her twin said that make her confused. 'My boy?'.

Hyunjin was about to walk away but stopped and look at his twin teasingly, "Oh, and by the way sis, fix yourself. Yeonjun is downstairs, it looks like dad and him is talking about something so serious." On what her twin said make her jump out her bed and immediately go to her bathroom to fix herself.

"Wait a minute, I just talk to him a while ago and he's here? Oh right he's the one who send me home. So that means he didn't leave?" She panicked but realized, "Why am I bothering fixing myself when it's only Yeonjun? Ahhh nevermind, I'll just wore a simple clothes." She shook her head.

She was walking to the stairs to go to the dining room where her family is and where Yeonjun might be. And she didn't stop talking to herself, "I'm really getting out of my mind. I think I'm gonna be crazy about him?"

"Crazy about who?" She jump in panic when she heard a man's voice.

"Yah! Are you planning on killing me this early?" She exlaimed at the guy.

"Why would I do that, then if I kill you who will be my future wife?" She blink many times at what Yeonjun said.

Yeonjun chuckled at her reaction, he really likes it when Yeji can't process something on her mind. He found her cute.

"Ehhh?!" He pinch her cheeks at her cuteness before leaving her clueless.

"Yah Choi Yeonjun, what are you doing at my house. I already left you outside earlier." She whisper shouted at the boy.

He stop and face the girl, which he need to bent his face a little because of the height difference. "And that's your wrong, uncle saw me earlier and let me enter." He said before continuing to walk.

"And what did you and dad talk about?" He stopped walking again and lean near her face that cause her to lean backwards.

"I'm serious about what I told you earlier, Yeji. And I'm trying to work it out." He said and finally he arrived at the dining room with a quiet Yeji behind him.

"There you are Yeji, let's eat." Her mom told her and she take a seat with Yeonjun's help, and for the boy he sat beside her of course.

"I already told your mom that you'll stay here for tonight Yeonjun." Yeji choke on her food because of what she just heard. They look at her worried but she just shook her head and said she's fine. "I didn't know that Jennie is at your house." Yeji's mom told him that make him nod before swallowing the food on his mouth.

"Yes, actually she was planning to stay for college, dad and mom has no problem with it." He explained making Yeji's dad nod his head and agrees.

"That's good, she will be finishing her studies here at Korea. How about you, where are you gonna study for college?" Yeji's father ask that make Yeji stop for a while. They still didn't talk about it and it's not good to talk about it now. But she can't interfere it's him and and her father conversation.

"I was thinking about that for now, uncle. Besides me and Yeji have the same dream, it's nice if we both go at the same university." Yeonjun said, Yeji wants to be eaten by the ground by now. They were seriously talking about that and Yeji who's not comfortable with the conversation is in the middle of the two.

"Oh right, Yeji is having her second thought of studying at Hanlim or staying at Everblight Uni." Her dad said making Yeonjun to nod. 'Hanlim, huh?' Yeonjun look at Yeji who's silently eating beside her.

"And about of what we talk earlier, Yeonjun." Her dad started making her imaginary cat ears perk up in curiosity. "I'll let you do it, since I know you too well."

Yeji was really confused right now, because she doesn't know what did the two talk earlier and she didn't get what Yeonjun told her earlier. But then, fate want to play with her.

"And Yeji, you and Yeonjun should talk about it."
