Chapter Seventeen ||

"Can you keep your voice down it's not like I'm gonna kidnap you."

"Yes, you are! Where will you bring me?!"

"I'm your bestfriend for goodness sake."

"No your not! Your an alien! Where did you bring Yeonjun! He should be with Yena right now and not here!"

Yeonjun stop walking and look at Yeji who's still struggling at his hold. He smiled unknowingly that make Yeji stop and look at him.

"See! Your not Yeonjun! Your creeping me out!" Yeji fake chills making Yeonjun chuckle.

"Your still really silly." He said before continue to walk, Yeji look around to only see a familiar corridor, where she just walk yesterday.

She's confused on why will Yeonjun spend his time with her even though he have his girlfriend, but at the same time she was happy that their back to normal.

Yeonjun let her sit on one of the benches at the garden. And sat beside her. No one bother to talk, instead they love the peaceful atmosphere that the nature brings to them.

It's still 10 in the morning and the sun is not that high. Birds chirping can be heard at the background. Different colors of beautiful flowers are around them. And the fresh air welcoming them.

Yeji closed her eyes as she let the nature take her to peace. Leaning her head backwards, smiling at the feeling of it. She missed those moments that Yeonjun bring her to any garden, and sit there for no one knows, how long they sat there and keep quiet.

Yeonjun look at her amused, earlier she was really naughty, but now the quiet Yeji he's seeing make him smile wider. He look at Yeji's face that being welcomed by the sun ray. Seeing her happy really make him smile.

But there's an unknown feeling he's been feeling a lot lately. He look at her with so much adoration in his eyes. His face became serious and stare at every detail of her face.

From her eyes, that she always use to glare at him every time that she tease her, to her pointed nose, that he likes to pinch everytime he found her cute, to her lips, that she use to nag at him, but those lips is something that he can't ignore, it's like a magnet that attracts him.

He was astounded at her beauty.

'Why did I just noticed now, that she's this pretty?'

He shake his head at the thought and bow down before smiling again. 'What am I thinking just now?'

He heard her deep sigh and look at her who's looking at her seriously. He was taken aback by the sudden seriousness of the lass.

"Why didn't you participate?" She ask him, 'Oh right, I still didn't tell her.'

"It's just, that." Yeji was really mad at his respond at her question. She glare at him that caught him off guard.

"I'm asking you again. Why did—"

"Because you can't." He cut her question by answering it seriously. "I made up my mind Yeji, if you can't then I won't." Yeji scoff at his answer.

"Yeonjun it's our last performance for this year and you let the opportunity go?" She asked him.

"Then what? Leave you in the crowd, and while me being happy performing in front of a lot of people?" He said and stood up. "I'm not that selfish Yeji, and you know that."

"It's just this once." She said to him pointing out each word. "It's not a big deal." It was Yeonjun's turn to scoff at her.

"For you it's not a big deal. Then what about me?" He stood in front of her. "Do you think I will let this opportunity go just like that, if you being my partner in this one is not a big deal?" He look at her.

Yeji was confused and taken aback by what he said. 'I'm starting to think a different meaning on what he just said.'

Yeonjun took the opportunity to continue talking. "It's our dream right? We will achieve it together, so I'll stay by your side until we achieved it." He knelt in front of her that makes her surprised. Holding her hands before looking at her.

"Yeji, we started it together and it'll and with us being together." Yeonjun said that make him more confused.

'What does he mean by that?' Yeji want to bury herself underground for not understanding what he just said right now.

Yeonjun wants to laugh at her reaction, he knows she didn't understand it and decided to not repeat it again and make her understand what he means.

"You'll know it soon, but for now let's go to the cafeteria I'm hungry." He said before carrying her in a bridal style again.

Yeji squealed and try to get off him. But Yeonjun didn't budge.

"Yeonjun I can walk." She said.

Yeonjun pouted his lips and shook his head. "No you, can't."

She can't believe what she was seeing right now. She just cross her arms and look ahead, and start to think of what he said earlier.

'Is there something that I needed to know?'

"Oh, Yeji unnie." Yeji heard Chaeryeong voice calling her name. And she just found herself sitting in front of her.

She look at Yeonjun and smiled before saying a little 'thank you'.

"What do you want noona. I'll get it for you." She just noticed that Taehyun was sitting there with her friend, so she look at Chaeryeong with a suspicious look. But the girl only widen her eyes and look away.

"No tha—" Yeonjun cut her off.

"You'll eat. Let's go, Tae." He said before dragging the poor boy with him.

She look at the two boys, before looking at Chaeryeong who also looking at her with suspicious eyes.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She ask, surprised. But she remembered, "I should be the one who's looking at you like that. What's with you and Taehyun?" Her question makes Chaeryeong widen her eyes and back away.

"See, your hiding something from me." She accusingly pointed her fingers at her.

"It's not like that, unnie. We were just friends. And you know that I priorities my study first." Yeji doesn't believe it but still nod at what the younger said.

"Friends huh? Let's just wait." Chaeryeong doesn't hear what she said because she's staring at the guy who's walking towards her. And so as Yeji.

The two man walk towards them with a tray of foods in their hands.

"Eat." She flinch when Yeonjun flick her forehead and signal her to eat the food he get. And she just saw that he got a corn dog and a cola for her.

She secretly smiled, before eating her food but soon froze when he heard Taehyun's question at the guy.

"By the way, hyung. Why are you here? Where's your girlfriend?"
