"Huh?" I'm disoriented from the sudden situation but I manage to turn around to find the Gator animatronic standing over me, supporting the beam that was about to hit me. Our eyes meet yet neither of us say a word. His expression is blank, almost emotionless. "Are you alright?!" A familiar voice belonging to the main star calls out to me while coming toward us. Montgomery breaks our eye contact and moves the beam to the side as the other main stars, staff, and party goers come to see the commotion. "Uh, i'm alright." I say taking the outstretched hand belonging to the bear animatronic. "Come, let's get you checked out. Lots of glass has fallen in this area!" He says to me tugging my arm lightly. "Oh no i'm fine, seriously. I got lucky." I smile nervously and he lets go of my hand. "Are you sure? It's no problem at all if you need medical assistance. We have the necessary staff on hand." He asks once more. "No, it's alright. Thank you, though, I appreciate it." I say. Glass did hit me. My shoulder right by my neck. It hurts but i'd rather just get back to work. I'm sure it's nothing. I grab the area and wince as it stings to the touch. "I'll check under my uniform later." I say to myself before noticing the gators gaze on me, quickly looking away once I looked at him. "Alright everybody, let's clear out so we can get this fixed up." A staff member says while a few security guards round people up to move them into other areas. I make sure I have all my things and start to head back to the staff rooms. I glance back and see him. Back turned walking with the other animatronics, heading backstage. "Huh.. why'd he do that for me?" I ponder for a moment. "Probably just programmed to... right..." I turn my head back and continue on.

I get back to my work but soon enough, the pain in my shoulder is very noticeable and I decide to head to a nearby bathroom or something to check it out. "Just what I need." I sigh and spot a single person staff bathroom at the end of one of the back hallways. I knock, and upon hearing no answer, I enter. I've never used this one before. It's kinda cramped. I make my way to the mirror and begin unbuttoning my uniform to take a look at the pained area. I notice a small rip in my uniform where it hurts the most. I slide the dark top off my shoulder to find a bloodied gash accompanied by some bruising. I can't help but wince at the sight. While the bleeding isn't too bad or noticeable, it still hurts like a bitch. "Ah man.. you've gotta be kidding me. I've got nothing on me..." I say, frustrated. Guess I'd better head to a first aid area. "Huh, the bear was right." I let out a small sigh and button up my top. I turn to the door and slide it open slowly. A hand stops the door from opening all the way. "?" It's dark and hard to see, so it takes me a moment to register who's in front of me. It's him. Montgomery. He's standing with his hand stopping the door, glasses tilted down just enough to see the tops of his red eyes. "It's my turn." He says in his usual low voice. "Huh?" I say with a confused expression painted on my face. "I saw the glass hit that shoulder of yours. Since you fixed me up, I thought i'd return the favor. How bout' it?" He asks and I notice he's holding a first aid kit in his other clawed hand. "What the hell..." I think to myself. "Why? All of the sudden you want to help me. You're freaking me out here." I say with newfound confidence. "Hmm..." He stops for a moment. "A whim I guess? What, are ya scared?" He grins, brows furrowed. I think for a moment. Saying no would probably cause more trouble. Plus, i'd rather not have to go out with my shoulder like this. While the situation is really weird, considering the "man" before me is a robot, I decide to just go with it.
"Alright... why not." I say and step back into the small room again, followed by the 7 foot robot.

Now that the both of us are in here, and considering his massive size, the room feels much smaller than it already was. I start to sweat as I begin to feel a bit claustrophobic. "Alright, sweetheart. Let's see it." He steps toward me. "Slide the shoulder off. Unless you'd like me too? He winks behind his tilted sunglasses before reaching up to remove them. "No! No.. I got it." I blurt out before I turn to the mirror and begin unbuttoning the top buttons of my uniform, just enough to slide my sleeve off my shoulder. As I fiddle with the buttons, I glance up at the mirror and notice the gators eyes tracing over my body. "Welp, this feels weird. Real weird. I need to get this over with." I quietly sigh before finally sliding my sleeve off of my shoulder, exposing the ugly wound. "Well now, turn around so I can get a good look." He commands and I comply. I don't know if i'm just reading into things too much, or this hot, cramped room is getting to my head, but his expression almost looks pained as he studies the area on my shoulder. "Nah... I don't think these things can feel emotion like that... Or could they? Technology is crazy these days." I think to myself before he steps closer and places the first aid kit on the counter behind me, opening it and pulling out a disinfecting wipe. He turns to me and places his large hand on the side of my arm to hold me still as he wipes the blood from the area. My body is so tense. Razor sharp claws inches from my skin. I look up at his face and his expression is focused as he finishes cleaning the wound. He returns to the kit and grabs a band aid fit for the size of the wound. He then turns back to me and begins attempting to peel of the adhesive. He picks at it for a moment, seemingly becoming more and more frustrated as his large fingers try at the much smaller bandage. Without thinking, I reach out and grab the bandaid. "This is way too hard to watch." I swiftly and easily peel off the adhesive. "There we go. Wasn't too hard..." I smirk mischievously before handing the now peeled bandage back to the gator. "Hmph. I almost had it ya know..." He says trying to mask his defeated expression. "Yeah, whatever." I say playfully, amused at the situation. My smile fades quickly. "What the hell am I doing... Joking with this guy?" I question myself before he steps closer, placing the bandage gently over the wounded area. "Right. Good as new. Guess you owe me now, huh?" He says while grabbing his star shaped sunglasses and putting them back on. "You're kidding, right? Wasn't this because you owed me???" I say while I button my top back up. He lets out a deep chuckle and turns toward the door. "Hey..." I call out quietly and he turns back to me just as he was about to grab the door handle. "Thanks. I appreciate it. The whole saving me from the beam and this. You didn't have to." I say to him and smile. I'm genuinely thankful. He did kinda kidnap me for a bit but I decided to look past that in the moment. "It's nothin'. He says and lowers his shades. "It gets borin' around here. You spiced it up a bit, sweetie. I'd like to keep you around a bit longer." He explains. I imagine it does get pretty boring. The place is huge but when you can't leave, i'm sure it feels small after a while. "You got time after your shift? Me n' the gang were going to hang round the golf course for a bit and relax tonight. We get a bit more freedom on weekends. How bout' it? Interested?" He asks with a smirk. "I can stay out late tonight considering tomorrow's Saturday. But am I really about to hang out with some robots? Am I even allowed to? I think the idea over in my head for a moment. "Once I clock out, i'm supposed to leave. If a security guard sees me, i'm screwed." I explain to him. "Ah don't worry about that. I'll sneak ya' in n' out. No one will know. Alright? He reassures me. "...Alright. I'll see you then." I finally agree and he lets out a deep, growling laugh before opening the door to let us out. "That's what I like to hear. After you, doll." He motions his hand out the door and I step out. "Thanks." I say and his back is already turned, but he throws up a peace sign to acknowledge my thanks. "Huh... that was strange. I'm really about to hang with these guys. I guess most people would be excited considering their fame but the idea is still weird to me. I begin to head back to the staff areas.

"Guess I'll just have to see how it goes."
