Hye-in's POV

I reached home which was quiet and silent right now. No one was around just some maids and workers. I walked to my room and change into something more comfortable. It was around 4 o'clock. My brain was frozen as I stared up at the ceiling. I lay like that for hours with my thoughts.

What if taehyung never talks to me again? Or what if Jimin and I end up together?

No no! what am I thinking?

Sh*t! 

I cursed mentally because of the stupid assumptions I was having. It's surely annoying and I don't like it, But I am thinking about it!

My body was working on it's own. I felt like I don't have a control over it at all! When I'm trying not to think about all the stupid thoughts that's what I am thinking.

Nina?

I quickly got up from the bed and called her again but she didn't picked up this time. It went over and over again but she wasn't just picking up the call. A huge pout was formed on my face, just as I was about to sit my phone rang again so I quickly got up again and saw Nina's name flashing on the screen. With huge excitement I picked  up the phone and started speaking 

"Nina! where were you girl! I've been so worried! you didn't even calle-" 

"Hye-in-ah I-I'm scared, help me" I heard her sobbing voice. My eyes widened as I spoke up again. 

"hey! what's wrong!?" I asked worriedly. 

"s-some people are after me! They've kidnapped my family but they escaped leaving me alone! I-I some how escaped as well but now the bad guys are after me! Help me Hye-in! they were taking your and Taehyung's name! I-is your brother af-ter t-this...? " She asked hesitantly.

"what-" I was speechless. Licking my dry lips I spoke up again. "What are you saying?" I asked again. 

"I-I don't know I-I Just heard Them taking your and Taehyung's name! Hye-in please help me! I'm at t-the old park near my house! Help Hye-in-ah they'll catch me! I'm scared!" She cried loudly. 

"I-I'm coming, stay on the line" I said and ran out of the room with Nina on the line but the phone in my pocket. I ran outside the room and bumped into Taehyung who was just staring at me with a bored look. 

He rolled his eyes and was about to leave but I stopped him by holding his wrist. 

"wait" I said. He again looked at me. I stared at him and spoke. "what did you do..?" I asked. 

"huh?" He said frowning. "Nina's in trouble and she says it's because of you! what did you do oppa! please tell me it's not y-your fault!" I pleaded. 

He seemed very shocked but then held my hand before dragging me out of the house. We both ran and ran without knowing where we are running but as we got out of the house property. He spoke. "where's she?" He said tighting his grip on my wrist. "The old park where w-we use to play" I said panting.

he just nodded and we continued running until we reached the park. I ran inside without Taehyung who followed me. "Unnie! " I yelled. "Nina! I'm here! It's me Hye-in! " I again shouted while I was struggling to breath. 

I went further inside but stopped on my track. My eyes widened as I saw the sight in front of me. 

Nina was standing in front of me with a an with built up body holding a knife near her throat. I was frozen. Nina's face had tears stains and was still crying. her cloths were covered with dirt. She looked really weak like she hasn't eaten for weeks, Her state was vulnerable. I can't imagine what all she's been through. My body was frozen on the spot. I was hard to see my best friend like that.
