Rivals or Enemies ?

35. Fixing things up.

Hye-in exited the classroom and walked towards her locker. she had a small smile on her face. "Lemme guess..... It's the Jimin boy" Hye-in flinched at the voice. she turned around and saw yeonjun. "the f*ck Choi!" she hit his arm and turned around again. "hehe... I know you like him... you don't need to hide that from me.." he chuckled. Hye-in shot him a glare. 

"you're still the same... Hye-in..." He started. "hmm?" Hye-in asked. "I'm sorry," Yeonjun said. His voice held genuine guilt and sadness. Hye-in stopped walking and turned around. She still hadn't gotten over Yeonjun. 

She wanted to give him a chance, forever, and was just waiting for the chance. But now she had trust issues. 

"what can you do to show me that you really are apologetic" she crossed her arms and faced her. "I'll beat those boys up.... they forced me! really! those guys had forced me to do it.... because they had caught me kissing Jemma..... he wanted revenge... If not then they you already know what my parents would've done to me,.." He looked down in guilt. 

Jemma was the daughter of Mr. Lee, who was the biggest Rival of mr. Choi, Yeonjun's father. If His dad would've known that Yeonjun is dating Jemma he would've sent him abroad without his permission. This little mistake could've ruined Yeonjun's entire life. He got forced by the bullies to bully Hye-in or they would have shown Mr. Choi that video. 

The boy was left with no choice. Later on Jemma broke his heart as well. She dumped him breaking yeonjun's heart into a million pieces. Jemma was also one of the reason's he didn't wanted his father to know. he really loves her. He didn't wanted to let go off her hand but at the end Jemma left the boy. 

He lost Hye-in, his best friend and love of his life both. Could anything be even worse?! He always wanted to scream his lungs out and cry to the most. But he never got anyone to whom he could let it all out. But by chance he spotted Hye-in in the school. he felt happy and wanted to aid their relationship, again. He wanted his bestie back.

Hye-in realized how sad he was. She was a hundred percent sure that Yeonjun wasn't lying. her heart ached seeing him like that. The boy had always been the source of energy to Hye-in. She has barely seen him so sad in the last 10 years. Yeonjun loves cheering others up whenever they are sad but he never had anyone to whom he could let everything out besides Hye-in. who also left him? 

She didn't hesitate to hold his wrist and drag him away to the rooftop. 

"Y-yeonjun.. seeing people change isn't what hurts.... what hurts is remembering who they were before" 

Hye-in told him, this is exactly how she felt when Yeonjun broke the friendship between them. 

Jimin stood there staring at them. He saw how Yeonjun apologized, how Hye-in's eyes softened at his words. He decided on following them to the rooftop. He hid behind the door and peeked in. Hye-in was standing holding Yeonjun's hand in hers. They were looking at each other. 

"Yeonjun.... I already warned you about Jemma.... she wasn't the most pleasant person! I always hated her but I supported you because I loved you.. I liked seeing you happy" her hands made their way to yeonjun's cheeks. She had a sympathetic face on. She was feeling like a terrible friend now of course. But was she the one to be blamed? No she was bullied because of him! of course she'll start hating him after that. 

"H-Hye-in, I-I lo-loved he-" he choked on his words and broke down. Without a  second thought Hye-in pulled him in her warm embrace and hugged him tightly. she kissed the top of his head "let it all out" she whispered as Yeonjun pulled her closer. he finally found Hye-in, his comfort place. he could rely on her forever and always will. She was an ideal friend. Because the girl knew how much friendship means. 

Jimin clenched his jaw and balled his fists. His eyes were red from anger. He couldn't tolerate that. it would be a lie if he says he's not jealous at all. He was burning from inside. He consoled himself and ran away from there. he ran outside the building. With his back leaning on the wall. He stared up at the blue sky. It wasn't that sunny today. 

What if she falls for him? 

What if she loves him?

I know she loves me but she's known yeonjun for longer... She'll opt for him and not me..

I'll be left alone, again

did I not deserved any love?

why was I hated so much all my life?! 

Why did I never found a true lover!? 

I don't deserve this? do I....? 

Jimin thought to himself

He felt tears brimming in his eyes as he fell down and let out his silent tears. 

Hae-won stood at the corner staring at Jimin cry silently. She sighed and made her way towards him and sat beside him. Jimin was startled at first but then realized it was Hae-won. "w-what are you doing here?" He asked trying to hide the fact that he's crying. Hae-won sadly smiled. "I know... I know you like Hye-in... I know that y-you are scared she'll choose Yeonjun over you" Was her response causing Jimin to break down even more. 

Hae-won didn't think twice before engulfing him in a hug. "sh.." She tried to console and comfort him even though it was useless. Jimin wasn't buying it. All he could think was about Hye-in, she's in his brain all the time now. Ever since they met. Jimin fell in love with her totally. he was just hesitant to take the first step. But now when he's seeing Her with Yeonjun, he regrets the decision. He must've proposed her. 

"H-Hae-won... d-did I not d-deserve to be loved..." he cried in his embrace. This might be the first time Hae-won has seen him cry in the last 13-14 years. Ever since Hae-won joined this school. Jimin was trying to be friends with Hae-won but Hae-won didn't liked that clingy side of his but inside she had a soft spot for him. 

"you don't need to cry Jimin.. You're amazing, No doubt you are really nice and kind... everyone wishes to be with you" she cupped his cheeks. 

"Jiwoo left me... like that. Now maybe e-even Hye-in,, I know It's a weird thing that I'm already broken but I think I love Hye-in more than anyone.. Please understand.... this whole world treated me unfairly. Like I was the worst person.. Maybe I am.. No one likes me,, I-I am the worst." He sobbed but the next moment earning a soft slap from Hae-won. She furiously stared at him. 

"The most beautiful thing in this Brutal world is yourself"

I feel bad I don't know why maybe because this is book is coming to an end? like not so soon but yeah...
