Sorry a leetul beet uf writer's block. Enjoy!

Ok. Cyclops in the middle of the road. Think calm thoughts, Grace. CALM THOUGHTS.

Not working. Okay. That's not good. What should I do about that now? DON'T PANIC DON'T PANIC DON'TPANICDON'TPANICDON'TPANIC.

I realized I hadn't been paying attention. I looked up in time to see Laurie draw a large dagger made out of some sort of bronze, I think. He then proceeded to remove his shoes and begin working on his pants. "Wait! WHAT ARE Y--" The protest crawled into a hole and died. I looked at his feet. But there weren't feet, like HUMAN feet. They were hooves.

Wait WHAT?

Yeah I know. Like they were donkey feet or something. Laurie saw where I was looking and sighed. "No, I am NOT part donkey. I'm part goat." Ok. Not donkey feet. Goat feet. Got it. I think.

Anyways, the cyclops seemed to be getting impatient. It was moving in on the car, fists raised, like it was going to smash the poor car to pieces.

Or us.

Either way, it didn't get that far. It had taken barely two steps when Laurie launched himself at the monster, dagger in hand. He looked pretty insignificant next to a cyclops that was at least eight feet tall, but who knows what he had up his sleeve?

Well, he launched himself with those powerful goat legs(!!!) at the cyclops and they struggled for a while. The whole time I was worried that Laurie was going to get snapped in half, since, you know, his opponent was one and a half times his size, if not more.

Eventually, he managed to find an opening(I have no idea how) and stabbed the thing in the arm. The cyclops roared in agony. Or was that annoyance? Maybe both.

Laurie started giving ground. He shouted over his shoulder,"Grace! There's a sword in the glove compartment! HURRY!"

Wait a minute. I must've misheard. I checked the glove compartment to make sure. Nope. Just a knitting needle. I decided to grab it and give it to Laurie for some reason. I don't really know.

I tossed it to Laurie, shouting,"This was the only thing in there!"

"Thanks!" Laurie yelled back. He gave the end a sharp twist, and the harmless knitting needle elongated into a F*CKING SWORD. WHAT?!

Well, shock aside, Laurie swung at the cyclops. The creature easily dodged the attack and, in a very dismissive manner, sent the goat-boy flying. He lost his grip on his sword, and it came sailing my way. Without even thinking about it, I picked it up. Laurie was in danger.

I advanced on the cyclops. Everything came into focus. For some reason, I was noticing everything around me. The fact that the sword was made of the same bronze stuff as Laurie's dagger. The care with which the cyclops moved his right arm, the one Laurie stabbed. His laboured breathing, meaning he was tired from the fight with my unconsious friend. The cyclops hadn't noticed me yet. He was just turning around when I was close enough. I got to relish the look of surprise on his face at the sword sticking out of his chest before I lost consiousness.

Sorry guys. I don't DO long chapters very often because I am, to be quite Frank(!!!), not very good at them. So I'm sorry. I can't really change that.

Pace out, my lovely demigod friends!!!
