I make it halfway down the yard to the bonfire before hearing Trevor shout my name from behind me. I turn toward him and see he has just come out of the kitchen. Carrying my water cup and a flask, he motions for me to follow him.
"Are you trying to spike my drink?" I ask.
"No, I was coming to give you this and overheard your conversation with Derek." He says, handing my cup to me.
"You were lurking," I accuse flirtatiously. Trevor takes a swig from the flask and offers it to me. I take a gulp, and the spicy liquid burns down my throat and yet still has a sweetness to it.
"Whiskey and Agave?" I ask him handing back the flask. All my brother's friends are whiskey drinkers, and it is common knowledge that I prefer my whiskey shaken with ice and agave. I smile because if this is what Trevor filled his flask with, he must have known he would be sharing it with me.
"About what I said." Trevor starts.
"Promised," I interrupt.
"I didn't promise anything," Trevor says, trying to fight the smile that threatens his lips. I follow him as he leads us over to the woodshed.
"For you to say what you said means you have thought about being with me," I say hopefully. I don't care if I sound desperate; I won't hide that I want him.
Trevor's silence encourages me, so I grab his arm to get him to look at me. He stops walking and turns to face me.
"You have thought about being inside me," I say on my tiptoes, putting my face as close to his as I can. Trevor starts walking again, and I follow him. Opening the door, he gestures for me to go inside. I comply, giving him a side-eye as I walk into the pitch-black shed. Quickly Trevor follows me in, the door closing quietly behind him, and I feel the energy in the room charge as my other senses are heightened to compensate for the lack of vision.
"You aren't denying it," I whisper. I know Trevor hears me because his breathing hitches.
"Why did you say no to Derek just now?" Trevor asks me.
"You were right. I was left unsatisfied." I answer him. He isn't touching me, yet I can feel my body responding to his closeness. The tiny hairs on my arms rise in anticipation of his touch.
"What were you thinking when you were staring at me across the fire?" His voice is gravelly, and I can sense that he has dipped his head closer to me. His breath smelled of whiskey and mint.
"I was thinking about what you whispered to me and how you have never spoken to me like that before. And, maybe, I want to be ruined for any other man by you." My voice matches his in a husky whisper.
"Sawyer." He growls my name, and its the only encouragement I need to reach out to him. I cup his face, and he grabs my wrist but doesn't move my hand.
"Are you done fucking boys, Sawyer?" Trevor requests, dominance clear in his voice.
"Yes," I moan and am rewarded as he pulls my hand from his face to kiss my palm. It is the sexiest kiss I think I have ever received, and another moan escapes my lips.
"Trevor," I whimper, feeling my legs start to tremble under me. Before I can finish his name, his lips crash into mine. I gasp at the electric shock of desire that coarses through me at his touch, and Trevor uses it to deepen our kiss, sliding his tongue into my mouth. He hoists me up by the waist, and I wrap my arms and legs around his to brace myself.
He is kissing me; Trevor is kissing me. My mind is running a million miles a minute, I have wanted this for so long, and it is much better than I have ever imagined. He breaks our kiss, and I groan at the lack of contact, then hold my breath as I feel him nuzzle my jaw and lightly dust it with kisses while trailing his way to the sensitive spot right below my ear lobe. He bites hard then laps at the offended skin with his tongue to soothe it. "Oh God," I call out, and Trevor bites me again, on my shoulder this time.
I throw my head back and thwack it hard against something. "Shit," I say, and Trevor pulls his mouth from me. "Don't stop," I whine as I rub my head. Trevor laughs. I take my hand and cup his face again, bringing my lips to his. I can feel that mine are already swollen from our kissing. He opens his mouth to me, and I rake my other hand through his hair, tugging it to tilt his head up so I can kiss him deeper. He growls, and I come undone. "I need more," I whisper into his ear, and I feel him swat my ass.
"Behave," Trevor warns, and I bite his earlobe.
"Please, Trevor," I beg, "Touch me," I cry out as he starts to slow our kiss down.
"I can't," Trevor says, bringing my legs down to stand on my own again.
"You can," I coax, pulling his hair. I run my tongue down his throat; I want to taste him, every inch of him.
"I told you I will not put my cock where another man's just was." He says firmly.
"It wasn't in my mouth," I say, tempting him. I start untying his board shorts. Trevor grabs my wrists. "Don't say no, Trevor, let me take you in my mouth."
"Baby, I will let you, just not in here, and not like this." He says, bringing my palm to his mouth again and kissing it, then the other.
"Now I really feel unsatisfied." I pout. Trevor bites my lip hard in response, and I yelp.
"Me too." He says and leads me out of the woodshed. I grab his flask and take a huge gulp. He takes my cup and does the same.
"You really are drinking water?" He says after taking a huge drink. I smile.
"Yes," I say, walking beside him toward the bonfire. "Did you plan this?" I ask him with a smile.
"No," He says grimly.
"Liar, then why are you drinking my whiskey and agave concoction? You like your whiskey straight." I accuse him,
"As a reward for turning Derek away. Keep behaving, and I think you will start to really like my rewards. Act out, and although you will enjoy it, there will be punishments. Fuck another guy, and whatever this is will cease."
"Those are the rules, huh?" I question.
"Yes." He answers quickly.
"What is this?" I ask him.
"We don't know yet. And it's best to keep it between us until we do." He says.
