I can hear the girls giggling and singing spice girls was soon as the elevator opens to our floor. I walk in to pure chaos. Jess, Sawyer and Reece are standing on the couch with hairbrushes in their hands asking what we really really want. I drop my duffle just in time to catch a squealing Sawyer who had launched herself from the couch off the coffee table and straight into my arms.
I am assaulted by kisses, as she wraps her arms and legs around me. "I've missed you.......so much.....Thank you........for the surprises......." She says between kisses as I walk further into the room.
"Oh my god!" She says untangling herself from me and standing on her own, I don't let go of her enough to let her step back from me. "Are you ok? Are you hurt? Did I hurt you?" She unleashes in rapid fire.
"I'm hurt that you stopped kissing me, that was some greeting." I say with a lazy smile. She reaches up to kiss me again, this time gently. I wrap my arms around her lower back and lift her slightly to spin in a circle then set her down. "Happy Birthday Sawyer". She thanks me with another kiss.
"Are you girls taking this show on the road?" I ask looking over at Jess and Reece in greeting.
"It's our back up plan to stay in Vegas if you keep getting your ass handed to you like you did tonight." Jess teases and Reece smacks her arm.
The fight started out solid, I was landing a few blows, my combos were clean, and I had a good feel for what Rikki was up too, then in the second round I didn't see it coming when he switched to southpaw and threw his right hook. I stubbled back and from that point on struggled to regain an upper hand. I had never seen Rikki fight southpaw, and I hadn't trained or prepared for it, so I just kept tripping over his feet at that point. It was a great fight, and I can't wait to break it down with coach for next time, but I did get my ass handed to me. My face is fine, but my ribs took a beating, I am definitely nursing a concussion, and my right hand is swollen. I am a little sore, but nothing too alarming. After some recovery therapy, and a session in the hyperbaric chamber, I am feeling pretty good.
"Are you ok?" Sawyer asks me again.
"I'm fine." I assure her.
"That was kind of hard to watch." She admits. "Did you lose because I am a distraction?" She asks dropping her eyes to the floor like she is guilty of something.
I lift her chin up to look at me. "Hey. You were not in my head in that ring. He distracted me when switched up from his orthodox stance to southpaw, and I got stuck in my head trying to pivot my plan. He was a good opponent who took me off guard. He won because he had a better strategy, not because I didn't have my head in the match." I reassure her.
I hear the knock at the door while I'm talking to her, and turn to see that Brady and Denver have just come in,
"Is it safe? Have the Spice Girls left the building?" Denver teases as he comes.
"Man, that was insane out there tonight, did you know Rikki was southpaw?" Brady says coming over to fist bump me.
"If I had known, I would have been prepared for the switch." I say in response.
"Fuck, he is definitely a fighter to keep an eye on these next few years, the guy is pure fire!" Brady says.
"For sure!" I agree, finally getting a good look at Sawyer. She is wearing her hair down, with wavy curls, and she has added eyeliner and a red lipstick to her normal natural makeup look. It makes her look just a little bit older, and almost mysterious as the eyeliner wings out and distracts from her expressive eyes. She is wearing a tight black dress that covers about 3 inches of her top thigh, just enough to not show off any skin from her ass in the back. The dress itself has a low cut back, and I know she can't be wearing a bra with that dress. Her long creamy legs look like they go for days and she has black heels on that strap up her leg to half calf. The look is sexy as hell, and I wish we didn't have a room full of people, because all I can think about is peeling that dress off her and fucking her in only those shoes. I can feel my dick jolt at the image, and decide to change the subject.
