Trevor

I wake up feeling well rested. I take a quick shower to loosen up my muscles a bit then head out to go for an easy run. I have to get some energy out and adrenaline starting to flow to loosen up my muscles and joints. When I get back in I drink a protein shake and text Sawyer Happy Birthday. I call Priscilla to set up an interview for Sawyer around 11:30pm tonight at Opium Den for membership. I check my wraps, shoes, and gear to make sure for the umpteenth time that I have everything I need. I'm going against Rikki Zimmerman tonight, and he is a great fighter. I rewatch some of the videos of his past fights, looking for patterns in his footwork, combos, and any weaknesses I can find. Zimmerman is a machine. He tends to drop his left elbow, before starting a new combo sequence, and I am pretty sure this will be my opportunity to strike and throw him off. He is light-footed, and fast. This is going to be a good fight, and I am feeling pretty confident.

On fight days I won't usually check my phone. I don't like distractions, and I don't need anything pulling my focus. I keep my phone on Do Not Disturb, however I have my coach and Sawyer in my favorites, which means they can reach me. I have a text from Sawyer.

Sawyer: Thank you. Good Luck Today, I'll see you after. Xoxo.

I smile at my phone. No requests, no drama, no needy demands, she just gets it. I have hired a few people to come into my suite and cover it in roses, streamers, balloons and have some champagne and chocolate covered strawberries ready to greet her when she gets in. I'll be at the event center, but I wanted her to know I was thinking about her. After my recovery therapy I will meet her up here and we will head to the Promo Party together. Brady, Jess, Derek, Amber, and Reece are all staying in rooms on this floor, I made sure the hotel put us together.

It is taking all my will power not to let my mind think about taking Sawyer to the Opium Den tonight. My dick twitches every time I go there, and my heart rate spikes.

I gather up my gear and head out. It's show time.
