Chapter 2: Trevor

"Do you have any idea what has Sawyer so hot and cold? She told me she was having women's issues this morning. Do you think she is just PMSing?" Brady asks me as we watch the girls walk into the house.

"I think Sawyer is just a 20-year-old girl, testing her limits," I say to put Brady's mind at ease. He worries too much about Sawyer. "You are hosting a sick-ass Lake Party this weekend, bro, don't worry about Sawyer, she's happy, healthy, safe, and she has her girls to keep her entertained. You need to let loose and find a girl to keep you entertained." I saw, elbowing him teasingly.

"Jess is looking good." He confesses with a wolfish grin.

"Brady," I say, slapping my hand over my face then sliding it down. "You know what happens if you hook up with one of her friends, you send the message to your friends that it's ok to go after Sawyer."

"Oh yay? And which of my friends do you think would cross that line? The one with a girlfriend, or the one who sings her love songs?" He challenges me.

Brady is intuitive but way too trusting. The fact that he assumes Derek wouldn't be a predator because he promised not to baffles me.

"I wouldn't assume Derek is faithful to Amber," I state, trying to take the accusation away from me.

"He is if she is present, which she is, so that leaves you, Ed Sheeran."

"No brother, you know I like my girls......Under control." I say with a lazy grin.

"She can be very persistent; she just might wear you down." He states.

Brady knows my sexual preferences are specific. I need to be in control.

"Maybe Sawyer would come to heal if she had some of your '50 shades of gray' shit." He shrugs.

"I want you to picture what you just insinuated." I challenged him.

"Oh God," he says and punches me in the arm. The idea of picturing Sawyer bound and open to me might gross Brady out, but it's an image that gets me hard.

"Come on, let's get a beer and get that image out of both our heads." I laugh and lead him toward the kitchen.
