Chapter Six: Rain Rain, Go Away.

Olivia sighed. "Lemme guess, you're gonna blow me off today too because you're going out with your friends???" She asked as she walked to Leahs locker with her. Leah raised an eyebrow at her as she opened the locker door and grabbed her school bag, ready to leave.

"Girl, we didn't even have plans, how could I blow you off?? But yes, I'm going out with one of them today, your highness. If you wanna hang out then call me, okay?" Leah said and Olivia rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever. I'll see you later." She said and walked away.

Leah laughed to herself quietly and shut her locker door. The pettiness of some of her classmates was surreal.

When she walked out of the school doors, ready for summer break; it didn't seem like summer at all.

It was dark and stormy and the heavens had opened upon the hundreds of students exiting the school, ready for their summer vacation.

Leah looked around and spotted Jon's car parked across from the school. She smiled to herself and ran across the road to him, getting into the passengers seat and closing the door behind herself. "Fucking hell." She said, only to be greeted by a laugh from Jon. "You're drowned and all you did was cross the road!!" He giggled and Leah smiled to herself.

"Yeah, I know. It's shockin'. And just on the day we had plans as well." She said. Jon shook his head. "It's alright!! We can make plans another day. We can go for a drive if you want now." He said.

Leah nodded. "That sounds great! Could we make a quick detour and go to my house so I could grab a quick shower and drop in my schoolbag first though??" She asked. Jon nodded snd started driving. "No problem, sweetheart. Let's go." He said.

Leah smiled and turned up the radio as Rock You Like A Hurricane by Scorpions began playing.

Jon and Leah sang the song together. Leah never quite noticed how dirty the song was until she heard someone else singing it. She felt a small brush crawl onto her face but she hid it quickly before Jon could notice.

By the time Jon parked his car outside of Leahs place, the rain had gotten even heavier. The two looked at each other. "Leg it?" Jon asked and Leah nodded. She picked up her school bags and the two ran to Leahs front door. Leah unlocked the door and stepped in, Jon following her and closing the door behind himself.

Leah put her school bag away and sighed. She looked at Jon and laughed as he started to giggle at how drowned she was.

"I'm gonna get a shower," She giggled. "But I should probably get you some company." She said and whistled.

As soon as she did, the sound of paws came running through the house from the kitchen and a white Springer Spaniel with dark brown patches came running in. Jon gasped and dropped to his knees, only to be jumped on by the dog.

Leah laughed and smiled at the two of them. "Oi, Lady!! Get down!" She said and Lady done as she was told, sitting in front of Jon. Jon sat up and looked up at Leah. "She's gorgeous, isn't she?" He said as he looked at the dog.
